Terrible weeds - Went to Dorn creek fishery on 6/15/18 and the weeds were so high could not find our way to the creek. Imagine trying to carry fishing poles and tackle through weeds that are so like 6 feet high. Would be nice if a path was maintained to the creek.

Evelyn Smith - When I was 2 years old I lived there with my parents and grandmother. I wonder if there are any pictures of that time. I do have 2. I am now 91.
BEAUTIFUL - Artesian spring at the end of a gorgeous walk thru prairie grasses and natural floral beauty. Great spot to walk, relax and walk some more

Feeding the fish... - I remember when I was just a small child, over 50 years ago, going with my Grandfather who lived near Pinnacle Rock Pond, to feed the fish. He was a caretaker at the pond and I fondly remember those special outings with him to feed the fish...

Please support out State Parks Governer - Please come and see how many citizens need a place of beauty and nature to go Talk to the kid picking up trash on the beach who find piles of garbage through out this park, no cans? Federal parks have cans. Hunting and snowmobiling destroy this park in the fall and winter.

Summers of Joy - I first spent the summer of 1934 in the park, and spent every summer until 1950. My father designed a canvas cabin and we would go up Memorial Day and come home on Labor Day. Dad worked at Western Electric in Cicero Illinois, and he had vacation last 2 weeks in July and first week in August. He would come up and spend that time with us, and we would go fishing etc. During the summer we would pick cherries at 5 cents a bucket. We would have to pick at least two buckets to go to Ephraim to the movies and have popcorn and a drink. The movie was shown at the city hall and was a big treat for us. We would hitchhike to Ephraim and usually someone would drive you back to camp. There was a trail from Nicolet Bay to below the tower. We would have what was called a slumgulion, every one would bring a can of fruit and we would put it in a bucket and then everyone would get a can back. some times it was good. This September I will be visiting and reliving my wonderful time spent here. It is on my bucket list

Wonderful place, especially for dogs - Terrific camping and a separate beach area where you can take your LEASHED dog since animals not allowed on primary beach area.

Leave your pet at home - I did not feel my dog was welcome. There were no waste containers to dispose my trash. I will not come back.
6/28/2015 7:30:40 AM Kettle Moraine State Forest
- When I was a kid we would rent a cottage on Forest Lake and almost daily hike the Kettle Moraine Trails. Such fond memories. I hope to bring my kids there some time to hike but for now we are overseas in SE Asia. Thanks for a great park system.

- We just happened to drive into this park over the weekend and of all places the falls and the creek and ferns and all that went with it was absolutely my favorite park in Wisconsin so far.The Spring house reminded me of the spring on our family farm and yes I drank from it .. I felt like I was home and a child again ready to have a adventure. We climbed we laughed it was poring rain that day but we continued on and loved every minute of it . I wish my grandparents farm had been willed to the state because that is what this place reminded me of. Thank you!!!
