Best Place for Family Fun - We take our family here every year. We stay in one of the six cabins located right on the waters edge. Kayaking is wonderful and so is cooking over our campfire. The kids go fishing off the dock and are never disappointed. They always catch fish there. This is a peaceful park that we highly recommend.

Locals - We are locals that live about a fifteen minute drive away. The beauty and quiet of the park are awesome. We especially like canoeing in the lake, and getting on the top of the hill in the swimming area - great view!

Family tradition - I started taking my children to Little Buffalo at least once a season when they were toddlers. Now, we gather to take my grandson there. We have pictures of three generations hiking. I have even made the 45minute drive by myself to just relax and watch nature. It is one of my favorite places in the world.

Family favorite for generations - Love the park, enjoy most improvements, BUT hate the new parking lot style with very limited lot selection and placement for tents in the pines.

road closed - Good place To camp. If coming from the coyler lake side, Thickhead mountain road is closed a couple miles before the park entrance. You will need to find alternate route.

Fun for the whole family - I enjoy visiting the park because it contains alot of fun times and memories for me as a kid, and now that I have kids of my own I look forward to keeping this trudition alive. My family and I ALWAYS try to meet at Little Buffalo State Park for our family reunions. Is a very specail time for all of us. Life drives us more and more apart each day with working and trying our best to keep up with our own lives. so it is always a blessings to just have that one special day a year that we can all meet up, catch up and as always have a great time.
