Great Hiking - I hiked the Blue and Green trails. Well marked trails that lead to an awesome waterfall. Not too crowded either.

Yellow Jackets - Our Picnic was ruined by the invasion of yellow jackets. 3 of our guest were stung. The park need to do something about the yellow jackets.

Great Park - My family and I had a great time this past week at the park. My children enjoyed fishing and the great view of the waterfall. The hiking trail was great also.I like the relaxtion of listening to the flow of the water. The cabin was great and clean. We will return in the fall.

Great for relaxing!!!! - My husband, children and I went for my b-day. I enjoyed the hiking trail and the waterfall view. My sons enjoyed fishing. It was quiet and relaxing listening to the waterfall. Hope to go back soon.

Beautiful Park - Our 13 year old wanted to go to the DeSoto State Park for her birthday present & are we glad she did!!! We had a cabin over looking the river with Indian Falls beside it. The Log cabin was nice & clean & the views were beautiful!! We traveled about 6 miles through the park to Desoto Falls & we also went to Little River Falls.All the Falls were BEAUTIFUL! We had a Great family time. So glad we made this trip!!! P>S> The food was also good at the Lodge.

Best in my area! - I love this place! Beautiful waterfalls and awesome canoeing or kayaking if you catch the river right.

Bobby is right! - My wifes family has been comming here every year for a week stay since 1981.Since we been married in 1998 i have came with them.They are fisherman to and bring two or more boats.The boat dock this year was down right dangerous.The dock was leanning to the left bad! We to have asked for a security light so you can see at dark so you dont step on a snake or in something else! Since there is no bathroom or portajohn.I dont think this is to much to ask for. When the lodge & marina are very nice.

First time visiting - We loved the park. The scenery is spectacular. We pitched a tent and just relaxed. Wished we had more time to hike and see the waterfall. Next time.... Thank you park rangers. You made it very friendly...
