Camped here with my parents as a kid. - My Dad and Mom stopped here on the way home from Niagra Falls years ago. And I will always remember it as being a nice place to camp, along with my brother and sister. I remember visiting three states at once near here, Pa, Ohio, and I think West Virginia.

Pretty Park - I was intrigued by the history of this park, so yesterday we drove 110 miles to see this amazing natural pothole. The woods and the trail were very pretty but the single men pulling in and out of the parking lot was a little disconcerting. I usually visit parks and hike alone but I was very happy that my husband was there with me even on the short walk through the park.

Beautiful Park but unsupervised.. - We visited the park on Monday of Labor Day weekend and I must say, as beautiful as it was, we left quickly as there were intoxicated people shooting off large fireworks into the tops of the beautiful hemlock trees and we were frightened of a possible fire or worse.. No one in charge to make a report to. Also, the sign says no dogs ( unless service) and to bring out your trash.. People had several large dogs not leashed ( one growled menacingly at us) and garbage all over at the base of the beautiful waterfalls.. We left feeling dismayed.... :(
