Beautiful area - Drive this area any time of year. Excellent views all along the drive. The info signs are great. Felt we had learned a lot about the area by the time we were through. Will be back to hike next year.
3/25/2012 6:20:01 PM Robbers Cave State Park by Rambler
Nature was great, staff not so much - This park is beautiful for sure. Several nice trails to hike. The water is lovely. The cave itself is interesting and fun to explore. Was not impressed with any of the staff we met. Either hovering or dismisive.
3/25/2012 6:08:40 PM Runestone State Park by Rambler
Great bit of history here - We visited several OK State Parks last week. Have to say, this was our favorite. The trail itself is beautiful! Very well laid out, nicely maintained and just lovely. The stone is easily seen dispite having to be protected from morons. The woman in the info center was great. She gave us a bit of history and information and then backed off. She answered all questions but did not come off as a know-it-all. She was friendly and fun to talk to. I left very curious about the carvers of the Runes and wanting to visit other sites.
3/20/2012 6:10:08 PM Sequoyah State Park
Best Trip Ever - We went on a business retreat and I felt like a kid again. We are booking a weekend this summer for our family....

Love this park and cabins. - My husband and I stayed in the Cabins at Keystone for our Honeymoon in 1975. We come back frequently. Love this place.
1/23/2012 Alabaster Caverns State Park by Jane Love
wonderful time - Alabaster Caverns tour was wonderful. We love it,have been twice. Response to REALLY; No one is allowed to touch or disturb the bats, a man was pointing at a bat, and the tour guide got on to him, you are told to be very quite, no talking, no cameras, no touching the bats, the people that work there love the bats. The bats are fine and well protected. Cedar Canyon lodge is a nice place to stay also walking distance from Alabaster caverns.
1/7/2012 Red Rock Canyon State Park by BBundy
Great place to climb and hike - Spent the day with my son hiking and climbing the entire top of the canyon both sides. Beautiful place, clean and a great family getaway. Fun for all.

My favorite lake growing up - Why is Rockie point and Sheppard point closed I grew up 1/4 mile up the road and would have liked to take my children there now.
11/14/2011 Robbers Cave State Park by old-honeymooners
- We went for our first anniversary/honeymoon this last weekend. Beautiful scenery every direction. Rented a cabin, it was great and adequately stocked. Friendly park staff. The stables however were a huge disapointment. We had reservations 3 weeks in advance and called twice including the morning of our scheduled ride to confirm. We had noon rides and turned out we wasted valuable time on Saturday awaiting to ride, only to be stiffed on it. No courtesy call to explain and the gates were locked. We left voice mail on both the pnone numbers given by the stables ads. Two other couples we spoke to had the same experience this weekend. The only thing they will tell you at the park office is that the stables are vendors and not park employees. Hmmm, perhaps they should say bye-bye to them and bring in a new vendor since they advertise so heavily on all the brochures that horse back riding is one of the main attractions/activities.

Wonderful Place - Just returned with a Girl Scout Troop on our annual 6th grade trip.. It was wonderful. We want to come again..
10/18/2011 Greenleaf Lake State Park by John Dennis
Great Place - We have had our annual family reunions at Greenleaf the last several years. The staff is very accomodating and helpful. The facilities are perfect for this type of event. Our family truly enjoys this park.

Camping at Robbers Cave - Just returned from our first camping trip at Robbers Cave SP and we loved it. We were able to rent an RV pad with water and electricity and had all the comforts of home. The staff there are very friendly and helpful. Already planning our next trip.

Childhood memories - I went several summers in a row as a child every year was always better than the last i am planning on returning soon
9/22/2011 Lake Murray State Park by Robin
Great Park - We stayed in the cabins by the lodge. Everyone was very nice and helpful, and the lake is beautiful. The lake is so clear that you can see fish swimming by. My kids had a great time with the water sports and putt putt golf. My only 2 complaints are: there is not a boat ramp at the lodge and the park does not allow tent camping.
9/22/2011 Alabaster Caverns State Park by C.Hughes, Monroe, Lousiana
Fun to get away from it all at ACSP - My wife and I stopped here and camped on our honeymoon. The cave visit just added to the fun. We visited it again this summer when the temperature was 114, but the cave was cool and refreshing. Very remote and romantic. The drive there and away is beautiful.
- I would like to thank you for the tour of the caverns its been many years since i had been through them and it was alot of fun getting to bring my kids to see them for the first time. Def will be back again
9/17/2011 Fort Cobb State Park by Margie
Park was clean and plenty of fish - The only bad thing was that the restrooms were closed in area 4. There was a sign that they pare closed after the Labor Day weekend.
9/16/2011 Wister Lake State Park by Gary and Brenda
Our favorite spot - We stay here 2-3 times a year and absolutely love it. It is very peacful, and relaxing here.
9/12/2011 Twin Bridges State Park by thearys
nice spot on the river - Sites are large roomy, some are shady. Site in upper areas have view of rivers, we stayed at boat dock area right on the water. Enjoyed our stay, lovely spot, but...be aware you will have highway noise. Also, out site was filthy, must have picked up 400 cigarette butts around the table area, many of which were hardened in the mud so been there a while. Shame on folks who toss them, and on those who are supposed to tidy up the campground. We left it much cleaner than when we arrived. Dump station is easy, well-designed, nothing irritates my husband more than poorly designed dump stations. This one was terrific, only thing missing is a small trash can for plastic gloves, right at the station.
9/11/2011 Wister Lake State Park by Cheri Eager
Great Family Spring Break - Went last March for spring break with the family and loved it. The geese were returning, the weather was warm in the day and chilly at night, and the cabins were clean and comfortable. So much to do within a short car ride away. We will definately be returning this March.
A nice Oasis... - The lake is almost completely dry, but it still makes for a nice place to spend the evening when in the panhandle. Good facilities and a quiet night.
9/5/2011 Keystone State Park by Bobby
Oklahomas best kept secret!!! - We stayed there for the fourth of july holidays, every thing was perfect. Despite the heat.
9/4/2011 Roman Nose State Park by newseditor
Excellent hiking trails - If you like hiking, Roman Nose is outstanding. Many trails, excellent scenery. Nice, quiet setting. Newly renovated lodge looks really nice.
8/24/2011 Arrowhead State Park by Area 51
Area 51 Reataurant and Club - The food is great, especially the music. They are starting to have a lot of awesome bands playing out there too. Awesome enviroment!!!
8/24/2011 Cherokee Landing State Park by Rhonda
One of our favorite parks - Love the scenery there while camping can see the water all around us. Nice cliffs and lots of bird watching to do. Only thg is need some sites with sewer hookups too!
8/24/2011 Sequoyah State Park by Rhonda
One of our favorite parks! - We enjoyed our first camping experience in our new RV at Seminole site. Only thg we had a local black snake which came thru twice and ended up on our axel because when he got spooked he climbed to hide. Oh well it was beautiful there all the deer and animals. Love the bike trail it was fun!
8/15/2011 Talimena State Park by ko
best place in Ok. to ride atv -
8/14/2011 Greenleaf Lake State Park by Sameasthem
Nice Park!! - People ranking this park poorly are confusing it with an old army base nearby. (Camp Gruber, it is used by civilians periodically.) They are not the same thing. Greenleaf is a great park... The fishing is questionable. But other than that we love it!
8/7/2011 Beavers Bend State Park by Fort worth
Deer raccoons eagles oh my - This is by far the best animal viewing area we have been to. Deer abound in the morning and lots of other guys at night. We got to see an eagle during late summer fishing in late afternoon. Awesome This park is great and will be back soon. Get some onion rings at the restaurant
8/2/2011 Alabaster Caverns State Park by Bruce Dopfel
RESPONSE TO REALLY! - I was sorry to hear that you were disappointed in the caves. We Have visited many times and the state is doing an outstanding job of protecting the resource and cave inhabitants. Maybe you should come out and talk with the caretakers and see how good of a job they are doing. Have you ever actually been to the caves?
No water! - The lake is dried up. My daughter attended a youth camp there in June 2011 - no water in the hole. Bummer.
7/25/2011 Robbers Cave State Park by Brian K. Denton, BKDphoto
Great Family Vacation - We just got back from out first visit to the park and my family had a great time. We stayed in the cabins and have nothing bad to say about them, A+++++++! We spent alot of time at the lake swimming and hiking, even though it was 107 we still had a blast! Will be returning ery soon!!!!
Fun - I have never spent a prolonged time at Roman Nose, but some of my fondest memories as a child were there. The pool and horse back riding was always really fun. We usually stayed at the lodge which was really nice and had breakfast on the patio as we fed a racoon that frequented the patio for bisquits. Love it! Very sad to read some of the posts about it being unpleasant and dirty, I never experienced that part, but, I never stayed in the cabins nor went on a holiday weekend.
7/6/2011 Okmulgee State Park by Jones Family
Family Fun Time - We have lived in Tulsa for years but only discovered this park this summer. The swim areas are big and perfect for the kids and parents to float around in. The bathrooms were nice and clean and all the water spouts worked. Also they have nice play-ground areas for the kids and a hiking trail. This is our new weekend spot!!
6/26/2011 Red Rock Canyon State Park by Fathers Day
On Our Way Home From Another Trip - My husband wanted to show the kids something interesting and relaxing at the some time. We all enjoyed the view as we were going into the park and we also got off an did some walking. My son enjoyed climbing and the trails. My husband said that was his best fathers day he had. We plan to go back!
6/21/2011 Lake Murray State Park by radmurrbrat
park ranger alert - I have been going to this lake since I was a boy and the last two years we have been harrased by several park rangers when we arent even doing anything wrong, they have even gone as far as accusing my dad of being drunk when he had not one drop of alcohol. lake is great just be aware of the rangers around the lake and there eagerness to make an arrest or write a ticket
6/18/2011 Boggy Depot State Park by Patty Coats
Coats Reunion Several Years - DID YOU KNOW THEY ARE WANTING TO CLOSE THE PARK. This will be a very bad deed FOR US, For as long as I can remember the Coats Reunion and several other FAMilies have been at this park. This park is part of History there has to be a way to keep it open. I know there are parks that do not have the History that this park has why not close one of them. I know there have been petitions signed please help us keep this open
6/14/2011 Beaver Dunes State Park by Ramona Turner
Even us Slowpokes had a great time. - We were the old and the young...not really the racing type...not the all night party crowd. We thought that Beaver Dunes was our great adventure. It was safe for the inexperienced. The pond was a pleasant escape and very relaxing. Want to do it again and again. Please keep this state park...OK.

- I visted the caverns about 13 years ago with my 4th grade class it was one of my most coolest moments growing up. Now that I have a family of my own I hope to be visiting again very soon.
6/6/2011 Raymond Gary State Park by Amy Bills
A place for memories! - My family and I love this park! We take our children several times throughout the year. The cabins are relaxing and clean& the grass around the park is always tidy. My children love to fish, swim, and play in the large park area. The staff is VERY nice and tentative. I love this park!
6/1/2011 Alabaster Caverns State Park by Ed Lassiter
- We had a great time touring the cavern. Very informative. We will bring the grandkids next time!!!
quiet, excellent fishing. Swimming area -
interesting but very disappointed - I was visiting relatives in Dallas from South Africa and really wanted to go to a reservation where the First Nation people live, no one was able to recommend contacts for me to go on my own. Anyway I did go to the park at Oklahoma and was able to observe history of the people. Took some nice pictures.
5/30/2011 Raymond Gary State Park by Jamie Hanna
A terric place to take Boys Scouts too! - Spent the Memorial Day Weekend out at this State Park. It was very well groomed, the kids had a blast - swimming area is well kept and clean. Very close to area canoe trips too!
The best lake around!!!! Love it..., -
5/26/2011 Beavers Bend State Park by Laura Frisco
Our kids loved it - We went to Beavers Bend State Park for our family vacation in August of 2010 and our kids (ages 5, 3 and 5mos) had a great time. There are way more trees than Dallas area where we live. And they loved wading in the lake and various rivers. However, we were very disappointed in the hiking trails. They were poorly marked and one trail was completely washed out in the place where it was supposed to cross the river. We still had a good time walking along the river, but it was really frustrating.
5/26/2011 Sequoyah State Park by Teen Camper
Okie Dokie - It was okay. I mean the group cabins seemed really run down the the entire feel of the camp was amazing.
5/25/2011 Alabaster Caverns State Park by Pinkdannigirl
Great Experience - My daughters 5th Grade Class went camping here for 2 nights and it was absolutely amazing. Plan on bringing the family back to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife.
5/25/2011 Osage Hills State Park by Klimber Kid
Good Climbing - There is a lot of good climbing out on the bluffs
5/16/2011 Beavers Bend State Park by DallasBill
Beavers Ben State Park was a bust! - When we called to reserve our cabin we were told that the cabins cannot be reserved that they are first come first served. Great scenery, Fishing was good, Kayak was great. Good Bike trails, lots of Wild life, park was keep very clean. Water was a little high at the Marina but it did not bother us kayaking. Love the ice cream cart. Overall rating for the amenities 4, for the park itself 8+. But we won’t be back. Cost is high for wait you get.
5/15/2011 Foss State Park by firemarshall552
A great park - we have camped here a number of times..the park has always been clean and the park personnel have been great. we enjoy this park..it seems tho it is rather expensive for the services received...23 per night for water and elec...will return
5/10/2011 Osage Hills State Park by Cissy
Great camping experience for our girls. - The grounds were clean, the rangers very friendly and helpful, the restrooms and showers clean, and we felt safe. Our 1 and 3 year old daughters loved the playgrounds and the hiking trails. We enjoyed this first time camping experience as a family and look forward to doing it again at Osage Hills.
5/6/2011 Boggy Depot State Park by Shirley(Riley) Creacy
A good place for family reunions! - The Riley Reunion has been held at the park for years. The facilities are very accommodating for games and pot luck meals. The personell have been very nice and helpful. We have heard that the park will be closing. What a shame.
5/6/2011 Lake Murray State Park by Jeffrey
Poor Service - Mom made reservations well in advance, told them she was in a wheelchair and were told they had handicap cabins, found out just days before our trip they had put her in a regular cabin. They showed no concern. That is POOR SERVICE.
5/5/2011 Lake Murray State Park by Marty F Cole
Great place - Me and my family have been going to lake murry for over forty years. My grand father would take us there in the summer to camp and fish we love it.
Fun Trip - We had a wonderful field trip. The only downside was one of the guides in the gift shop. She was totally rude to the kids and parents that came on the field trip.
5/4/2011 Honey Creek State Park by susan b.
great camping - we have been camping in this park for the past four years. my grandsons love it. very clean and everyone very friendly. heard rumors that they were shutting it down. i hope not. one of our favorite places on grand lake. close to shopping and eating places. i will be very disappointed if they change this wonderful park.
4/28/2011 Roman Nose State Park by ameliabadelia41
had a great time 2010 - we have went to camp on several occasions even in pouring rain and I loved it we was soak by the time we got our tent up... every one is so nice and the diner is wonderful they have games to play while we waited out the rain.. paddle boats are alot of fun, canoes, mini golf and great walking and hiking trails I guess they have bike trails too but we didnt take bikes.. this year I want to stay a night in the NEW hotel that is what I plan for my honeys birthday.. they have new management and I think it will be great again this year. I want a job there but live too far.LOL P.S. the pool is beautiful the grounds are beautiful there are springs that are icy cold I think it is a bit of heaven on earth I believe it is a must try, I thought the showers were clean it is an older park but they have good upkeep and the rangers made many rounds and were very friendly to us. Agian I love the place they have houses you can rent even if your not a camper we looked at them and they were clean.. you could do some thing different everyday for a week at least. No Im not family I just have camped MANY places and in my opinion it is lovely there..
4/25/2011 Roman Nose State Park by April 2011
NICE PARK SMALL CABINS - I enjoyed the park itself, very beautiful. The cabins were so small. The bathroom was so gross. They need to completely tear it out and replace it. And the Kitchen Cabinets were so old. I felt like we spent a lot of money staying there that they should be able to clean the cabin better, the floors were so dirty, they did not sweep under the couch, we had to clean it..
4/21/2011 Lake Murray State Park by Tammy
Wonderful Place to Kick Back and Chill - We camp here every sprin, summer, and fall. It is a beautiful lake with great views. Always have felt safe there. The rates are reasonable and the enviorment is enjoyable. We tent camp and always set up at Martians Landing. Our dogs also love it there.
4/16/2011 Arrowhead State Park by doug
is a nice place - nice place to go but had trouble with drunks screaming alll night and their were no rangers at night so we had to call the cops like 3 times
4/16/2011 Lake Murray State Park by Janice Marie Green
A place of balance - Whenever I need to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life...I spend my time at Lake Murray at the tower, on the pier, beside the lake receiving the balance needed to continue.
very dissapointed - the park rangers were very unproffessional they talk to everyone like they were a criminal.
3/30/2011 Beavers Bend State Park by DallasKat
New Year Tradition - We went for the first time for the new year with my sister, who has been going for years. Cabins are clean and comfortable and the scenery is awesome! Definitely going to make it an anual tradition, plus we may go at other times of the year as well. Their Customer Service is excellent too. I left my make up bag full of brand new stuff. They found it and mailed it back to me in Dallas. Save me hundreds of dollars of replacement makeup and skin care!
3/27/2011 Fort Cobb State Park by Bob and Lynn Waldon
Have camped here for years! - PLEASE re-open the restroom (the one that has not been replaced) in White Catfish Cove. It was updated 2 or 3 years ago, is very nice & with so many campers in this area, it is GREATLY NEEDED. When the new restrooms (which have a shower & toilet in the same room with a locking door) have people showering, other campers can have quite a wait to use toilets. Thank you.
3/27/2011 Robbers Cave State Park by Shelly Yates

3/26/2011 Lake Eufaula State Park by steven
would spend all my time there if i could - Great park! Lots of fun. Management is awesome.
Loved our visit - Went with my husband for a weekend camping trip. The grounds were clean and the woods beautiful. We saw several deer in the morning, both bucks and does!! We will definitely return! P.S. the park ranger was really nice!
3/20/2011 Red Rock Canyon State Park by Aislinn
Very enjoyable - We went for an overnight getaway from the big city. It was super windy the first day, but the following day was gorgeous. We trekked to the top of the canyon and followed the well-marked trails and enjoyed the serenity. Some dark clouds were rolling in and rain threathened, so we came on home. We stayed in a 31 ft Class C in the first campsite area...easy to back in. The steep ascent/descent was not bad.We are planning on going back often... Bing maps gave wrong directions and led us on a wild goose chase...
3/20/2011 Bolling Springs State Park by Blueturtle
Our Home Away From Home - Love to stay in the Cabins. Can walk right out the back and fish all day. Wish they could get the lake algae and aquatic plants under control
Great Park! - Just minutes from our house! We love the first come first serve on the spots cause we are not much for having to make reservations! :)

3/11/2011 Osage Hills State Park by Robert
Lots to do in such a small park! - From Lookout Lake, the hiking trails, mountsin bike trails, and Sand Creek there is somthing for everyone! Bring your RV or tent, fish the lake or creek, take a walk with family and friends on a trail, and enjoy this beautiful park. It is well worth the trip.
3/10/2011 Arrowhead State Park by awsome
I is an excellent national state park - excellent very very good
Great Times - I remeber as a little girl going to eat at the resturant there for the first time, I wanted pancakes and everyone kept trying to convince me not to get them. But I had made my mind up! A little later they bring it out, and much to my surprise it was huge and hanging off of the plate! But I was the happiest little girl in there! We have been taking our horses up there since I was old enough to hold myself up in a saddle and still to this day, after being married and having kids we still go as a family. It is an amazing place, and one that I will never get tired of!

Wonderful memories - We had our wedding at the lodge last March and I was very pleased with all the help we got from the staff. They helped make our day absolutely perfect!!!!
Hiker requesting information. - Do you allow hikers to leave a car at Talimena State Park? We plan to hike from Queen Wilhelmina State Park to your park in March.

Fascinating, Expands view of US history - Very interesting - both site & small museum. Would love to see more research done on this site & others which seem to be ignored by mainstream archeology.
2/2/2011 Alabaster Caverns State Park by Biologist
REALLY????? - A commercial cave promoting viewing of hibernating bats? Entirely irresponsible, and unacceptable. Could we not leave our bats SOME habitat free of molestation? WILL NOT SPONSOR this environmental abomination. Cannot state adequately my outrage at this abysmally ignorant abuse of resources.

Motorcycling - Great place to stop and sleep after a great motorcycle ride on Route 66, tent camping is the best. Beautiful Park.
We go at least once a year - We live near Dallas and this is our favorite place to go if we need to just get away, even for a one-day trip. Our favorite things to do are to hike, kayak, and just drive around to see the scenery. Kayaking is about $12 or $15 for as long as you want, as long as you are back before the sun goes down. The little restaurant inside the park has great food and low prices. If you prefer to cook or picnic, there is a large grocery store just south of the park. There are always different things to see in the little nature center. One time we saw a litter of baby orphaned possums.
1/11/2011 Keystone State Park by Mr & Mrs Gibson
Our favorite park very friendly - We have enjoyed this park many times last year and plan to spend a lot of time there this year everyone is so friendly there. wish we could make reservations for camping since we live so far away.

great winter eagle viewing. - if you can get a river front cabin in the winter your chance of eagle sightings are very good. the eagles love to fish when the warning horn sounds and the dam flood gates open. really cool.
12/31/2010 Lake Murray State Park by bj3350
Beautiful Atv Park - Lake Murray has a great RV park that has beautiful trails leading down to the lake and winding thru the trees. The single biggest downfall is that some politian closed the night time riding which in the summer months is the best time to ride.
12/29/2010 Beavers Bend State Park by BeaversBendLover101
SO WONDERFUL!!!!! - We love Beavers Bend! We have been going for about 4 years now and we love it! Our kids are never bored and there is always so much to do!!! We never get tired of going and will keep going for a long time!!

Fond Memories of Growing Up - I grew up less than an hour from Roman Nose and my family frequently camped there. It was and still is one of my favorite places to take day-trips and over nighters to. The pool is huge, the paddle boats a blast, and the canyon just beautiful.

An absolute gem - Wonderful, pine forested mountains and rugged terrain. Excellent hiking trails. Beautiful little lake with an ideal waterfront. Nice nature center. This is one of the best state parks in the United States. And, to the poster below, it should be noted the cabins now have flat-screen TVs with satellite!

10/16/2010 Heavener Runestone State Park by jgray
Very Interesting!! - I was very excited to be there, I love history. I thought the area was a bit run down and the glass wall looking through to the runstone was very dirty, i could hardly see the markings. Security camera on the inside was covered with dirt and alot of trash below the bluffs overlooking the town. All in all its a great place to visit and i will return next time im in the area.
10/13/2010 Cherokee Landing State Park by Joel
Great kayaking and soaking in beauty - Really enjoyed our too short visit. Will be back. Camphost was excellent.
10/12/2010 Beavers Bend State Park by lorena
One of our favorite parks. - This place just grows in you. It is beautiful and the more you take it in, the more you fall in love with it.
Great place to camp! - The park rangers were friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful park. We saw a couple of beavers. Very peaceful. Well kept.
10/7/2010 Great Plains State Park by Great time from Frederick
Really like this park - Fished there often as a kid, but my wife and I started going camping and boating again this year. Caught some fish (stepson caught a 3 pound walleye) and had a great time!!! Wife caught the biggest sandie and daughter-in-law caught the most. Me... I drove the boat.
10/6/2010 Heavener Runestone State Park by Carolynn
WONDERFUL RUNESTONE!!! - Friends who live in the area gave my daughter and I the treasured experience of going to this amazing park. We went during the Summer so the plant and animal life were flourishing all thru the well kept and information filled park!! We will take our girl there more than once!
10/6/2010 Beavers Bend State Park by Atabaw
The Best Escape - My family has been coming up to Broken Bow atleast 6 times a year (Dallas) the drive is worth it, reminds me of the Rockies - Great camping, tons of activities to do and the fishing is beyond awesome. The Rangers are super nice and protect their Park. And the ladies in the main office are like family.
10/4/2010 Wister Lake State Park by Geoff and Pauline Hale
Great Cabins! - We stay there every year for our anniversary. Love the place!
10/3/2010 Beavers Bend State Park by Paul & Steph

9/13/2010 Arrowhead State Park by C C Clark
Peaceful and beautiful - We recently stayed 2 nights at Arrowhead and would return anytime. The staff in the office were delightful and helpful. The park ranger was so nice and helpful when we encountered engine trouble with our RV. We ate dinner while watching deer graze and geese swim around the lake. Rabbits joined us for our breakfast, eating just a few yards from our picnic table. We will always have fond memories of our stay in Arrowhead.
9/11/2010 Alabaster Caverns State Park by rnrdryden
GREAT PLACE TO MAKE MEMORIES - I grew up not far from this place and we were there all the time. I have a lot of memories from when I was growing up and now I take my kids there almost every summer. Now, today I will be taking my granddaughter for her first trip. I am so looking forward to the trip. Plan on taking lots of pictures!!!
9/9/2010 Roman Nose State Park by Jarrod
- We had our family reunion at Roman Nose this year(2010) and had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a group location. The pool was huge, horses were friendly, and the rangers and maintenance staff were very helpful.
Never visit - The comment from the person who said they would never visit again was sad to me. I have never stayed here but have learned in my years of camping that it is usually best NOT to go no a holiday weekend. Parks are always crowded and funding only allows so many employees, who are overworked and usually underpaid.
9/7/2010 Great Plains State Park by crazyoldcoot
What a surprise! - We were visting in the area and looking for a place to spend the night. Wound up in a great Park and spending an extra day in the area.
9/7/2010 Beavers Bend State Park by the Hooter Family
Kids first camping trip - we had a great time, it was a beautiful park, well maintained. the kids loved the train ride and seeing all the deer just roaming thru the park. we had a camp site right on the water. took the canoe float down and had a great time. my kids 10 yr old girl and 4 yr old boy loved every minute of our two night camping adventure, their first camping trip ever. we will come back to this park for sure
Very Disappointed - We had to cancel our reservations within 24 hours of making them which was still 2 weeks out from the date we were supposed to go. Unfortunately, the weekend we were supposed to go, they still charged us for our whole weekend as if we had never cancelled and now no one answers the phone or emails. Very disappointed!!
9/6/2010 Bernice State Park by Carvers from Missouri
Fantastic Camping - Hello we camped here during Labor day weekend..We had a great time and the Kids loved the Nature Center, free crafts to take home with them was awesome! The Nature center is a huge asset to this park and the walking trail is just beautifull. The restrooms are kept very clean and this is not a trashy park and we did notice how well the park was patrolled. Will definately come back again soon..
8/30/2010 Beavers Bend State Park by nana71762000
Love it!! - Beautiful, relaxing, planty to do with kids, peaceful, never met anybody that was unfriendly! Been camping at Beavers Bend since I was about 10 years old. Now camp with my family and grandchildren.
We go there as often as possible - We have been going here for several years and we love it. We love the hiking and camp Doris. The wild life is great. We took our kids when they was young and now we are taking our grandchildren.
8/22/2010 Black Mesa State Park by D&T in OKC
Great Camp Hosts - Camp Hosts were a great help when we found we didnt have the proper equipment to change a flat tire!! As for the lake, yes there is some water in it as we got 3 1/2 inches of rain (in 2 hrs) on Aug 18th. Very quiet, well maintained, Rolla does a fantasatic job. We recommend the drive from Kenton to Raton NM on hwy 456 and 72...lots of wildlife, anteloupe, mule deer, and mountain goats...awesome trip! BEWARE, there is 17 miles of dirt road...but worth every mile!
8/19/2010 Black Mesa State Park by dmoore
Water? - Is there any water in the lake yet?? We were there several years ago----it was bone dry.
8/17/2010 Osage Hills State Park by Chuck and Shela Davis
One of our favorite State Parks - We just got back from two days at Osage Hills SP (Sun and Mon), we try and do a couple visits a year; its an easy drive from Tulsa The Staff and Park Ranger/s are as friendly as at any of the State Parks
8/10/2010 Robbers Cave State Park by d Gibson
watch out for bad TICKS - we will be going soon ourselves but several years back we learned a serious lesson about bug spray I actually got Lyme Disease from a nasty tick confirmed
8/8/2010 Osage Hills State Park by MIke M
Great Cub Scout Campout - We camped in the group camp ground. It worked really well for us. We had probably 80 people more or less. Nearby bathrooms, hiking, fishing and excellent scenery. Not too far from Tulsa as well. Only issue was trash was overflowing the dumpster.
A nice day hike - Our family spent four plus hours at the park Saturday. Everything was very nice although the signage for the summit seemed confusing. We were fortunate to get some help in the park and to run into two other hikers who had the same trouble before finding the summit trailhead. Make sure you have your bug spray because they were out in force. No snakes or other wildlife and all in all a very rewarding hike. We have children ages 10 and 13, and they both made the eight mile round trip in great shape.
8/5/2010 Bernice State Park by 4chorses
Family Fun - This is a wounderfully upkept park with nature trails and a nature center with tours giving at specific times. Some of the best crappie fishing in NE Oklahoma. Patrolled by law enforcement for protection and safety. Excellent improved concrete camp sites with all provisions. Cleaned daily showers and restrooms. The only down fall is there is only one boat ramp and it is in bad condition to shallow with no docks. If you have a pontoon you will not be able to launch here and have to go nearby and pay to launch. Please improve the ramp!!!!
8/4/2010 Robbers Cave State Park by Jim
Childhood memories - We started comming to Robberscave in 1956!!Wow the new updates with Flat screens would wow all our family members that have passed. We love this place. We have all but three cabins booked for Halloween. Anual Familt trip. Great to see the lake Restraunt open again..
8/3/2010 Roman Nose State Park by Andrew Ryerson
Try the lobster! - This is one of the best parks in the state park system. I have been returning to this park for 8 years now and I have to say that it is beautiful, well maintained (for a state budget and the traffic it gets) and the park operators and rangers have always been top notch in assuring us a safe and enjoyable experience. This park is good for large groups of 300 or so in Turkey Roost (which I do) as well as a nice family cabin getaway.
8/2/2010 Robbers Cave State Park by Mel
First Time Experience - This was our first time at Robbers Cave with our travel trailer. We had a really nice site, though it could have been mowed as some weeds were pretty high. My son got into some poison ivy at the site. The restrooms were not clean and were very hot and muggy.
7/26/2010 Beavers Bend State Park by Pet Owner
Pet Owners Should Know New Rules - We have been vacationing at Beavers Bend for years and have brought our small house dog every time. Recently we rented a cabin and drove 3 hours to arrive at the check in time of 3:00 PM. For the third or fourth time in a row our cabin was not ready plus we learned that the cabin we were assigned would not allow pets. The website still said pets welcome in all cabins and no one told us when we reserved that there had been a policy change. They offered us the cabin for an additional fee but by that time we were frustrated with the lack of organization and how it was handled. They did return our deposit but then we drove back home for 3 more hours. Our vacation was ruined. You should know that pets are no longer accepted in all cabins!!! In addition, if the cabins are not going to be ready by 3:00 PM because of late checkouts, charge the people who do not leave on time so those of us arriving have our cabins on time.
7/26/2010 Lake Eufaula State Park by Lake Eufaula State Park
ahhh!! Eufaula state park the best.. - great area to get away from it all. it has hiking, biking trails. cool playground for the kids. a neat nature education area. great camping,( tent camping ) is the best. quiet. one of my favorite state parks..
7/26/2010 Sequoyah State Park by unhappy camper!
Group Camp - Camp was terrible. Ruined family reunion.
7/23/2010 Osage Hills State Park by Bryan Crump
I love this place - Years ago I visited Pawhuska when they released the Buffalo and participated in a field ecology program through OCU. Pawhuska and Osage Hills is a beautiful area and there is so much wildlife it is amazing. I saw my first buck here when I was a child during an early dew covered morning and it is a memory I will hold forever.
7/23/2010 Roman Nose State Park by Bryan Crump
Beautiful Location - Roman Nose is a beautiful park. The sunsets are amazing and there is plenty that the park has to offer. The visitor center has some very helpful and kind people as well. I highly recommend visiting the park when you get the chance. It is a perfect spot to take nature photos as well.
7/22/2010 Lake Murray State Park by okie
checking out the camp site - Was checking out the camp sites(to see which one we will bring our camper to), and came to one called elephant (something), they would not let us enter without paying $4.00 per person.(Non-refundable for a five minute drive through)I was very disappointed because all the other camp sites didnt charge to view them. Love the park, it is beautiful.
7/21/2010 Beavers Bend State Park by UnHappy
Just OK. - The camp sites are crowded and closer together than other state parks. The bathroom and showers were filthy and were never cleaned in our 3 day stay. The quiet time was not enforced and could not locate a ranger to help.
GREAT ATV TRAILS - Park needs to stay open all night as they used to. Its too hot to ride during day. Unfortuately we dont go as much as we used to because they started closing gates at dark
7/15/2010 Fort Cobb State Park by daddyof6
lake - love this place been coming here any time possible
the golf course is great -
7/13/2010 Robbers Cave State Park by Dawn
Memories for a Lifetime - Robbers Cave is our family reunion destination every summer. Over seventy people gather from our family to spend quality time together. For 22 years, Robbers Cave has proven to be an exceptional host, from swimming,paddle-boats, feeding the monster catfish, volleyball, horseshoes, and hiking the magnificent trails, we have a never ending supply of activities. Of course, it always helps when you love the folks you are with!!!
need to control drunk parties at victor - we camped at Victor camp ground 4th of July weekend, we did not know that it would be a drunken party for most of the camp site!! we wanted family time to camp not be disrupted by drunk campers. Family campers need to be shown respect for trying to spend time with there families and their young children. If this is how the camp site is ran then something should be done with the camp host or officers drive down there to keep peace !!! Anyway we would just like to have a calm camp time with our families not stay in our camper to avoid the drunks. Please keep better survelience on your camp grounds. Thank you
7/9/2010 Fort Cobb State Park by wildbunch2u
Great get-away place. - Great place.
7/9/2010 Red Rock Canyon State Park by Helen D.
I love this park - I go to state parks all over OK and this is one of my favorites. It is small but lovely.
7/8/2010 Robbers Cave State Park by Sharla
Cabin & Fun - We just stayed in deck cabin #125 and it was very nice. Perfect for our family. Our problem came when it rained a bit everything shut down for the rest of the day. By 3 p.m. the rain had passed but everything was closed. The swimming pool, mini golf, shaved ice, & trail rides. All these employees just went home because of a rain shower. No lighting or thunder........VERY disappointed because of this. Should have kept these things open for the campers. We are looking for a different destination next time.
7/7/2010 Lake Murray State Park by mdd12
Our favorite park - We go to Lake Murray every summer. Its clean and the best in Oklahoma.
First time visitor... - We stayed at the lodge for a family reunion this weekend and had a blast...the lodge was great, but the housekeeping left a little bit to be desired...the toilet was filthy and there was dust on the stainless fixtures in the bathroom...the bed and pillows were horrible...we had to go into town and buy a foam pad and new pillows so we could sleep. At one point a sewer line had backed up or broken and raw sewage was seeping out of the ground and was running toward the lake down by the gift shop...we reported it and never did see anything get done about it...
7/2/2010 Red Rock Canyon State Park by J Roberts
Almost perfect! - Is it has a lake or river (large enough to swim in) it would be perfect...it is so prtty! Large trees, beautiful red rock walls everywhere...we camped out, and loved it. Best of all it is FREE for day trippers!! We took our dog and had a great time. A lot of RVers (we were tenting), but if you ask me, the tenters have the best sites - snuggled rught into the canyon. We will be back!
6/28/2010 Greenleaf Lake State Park by Lucky
Not Pleased - We stayed at Grubber the bathrooms had no ventilation, the fiberglass shower was broken at the bottom, the swimming pool was crowded from the near by camp grubber where they bussed kids in by the bus load, the lake swimming area was all grown up, and finally the perch wouldnt even bite the fishing there was no good
Worst Park ever - The worst Park we hve ever visited. Mid shinn grass, lack of toilet and showers. Renting space to Military Camp Gruber in the pool, it is always full.
Find another Park - Lets see where to start: first of all the online site said free swimming and putt putt golf during the week, they charged us $2.00 day.You could not swim at the swimming area at the lake because there was goose crap all over the beach. We stayed at gobbler ridge (43 camp sites 1 shower which had a hole in the floor)and the new showers had locks on them). Third thing is they bus camp kids (50 to 100 kids) in just about every day to use the swimming pool, golf, vollyball, and basketball courts. And the kids use your camp site to fill their water ballons and to have their water ballon fights. They were getting in our ice chests and taking drinks. It was not a good experence.
not enough cabins - need to open all cabins back up--unloading ramp at lodge been closed now 3 years
Great Park! - Really enjoy coming here!
6/21/2010 Robbers Cave State Park by disappointed
campsites/restrooms are neglected - Stayed at #29 site with two tents - campsite had poison oak throughout and weeds up to our ankles. Restrooms were filthy when we arrived Fri morning and still had not been cleaned when we left (earlier than planned) on Sat evening.
6/18/2010 Beavers Bend State Park by The Holdens
- We love it there. Beavers Bend is great. We have been going for several years with the kids and grandchildren. Love the fireworks on July 4th.....
6/16/2010 Okmulgee State Park by Julie
Our summer camping spot! - We camp at Okmulgee State Par every summer at least 1 week. There is a new playground at Redoak camp ground. They are in the process of building a new shower/restroom on 1 end of the camp. The people who manage it are the best! They have ice there at their site available to purchase. They keep the park and restrooms clean and well taken care of. There are several places to swim. It is a favorite spot of ours.

Greatest lake in the world - My family and I have been vacationing at Broken Bow for over 30 years. Always stay in the Stevens Gap area. No place on earth as beautiful as this!!! Great camping and fishing. The park rangers always take great care of the campers.
6/14/2010 Lake Murray State Park by SGR
beautiful park! - perfect for tent camping. nice, clean grounds, trees everywhere. we felt very safe and had many options for recreation. the lake is perfect for swimming. there was not a playground in our campground and we did not anticipate pay showers, so we had to go get some quarters! other than that it was pretty perfect. will definitly be back!
6/6/2010 Robbers Cave State Park by Beandiggler
Great Park - Had so much fun, lots to do, very scenic, nice facilities - cant wait to go back!
Will not ever visit this state park agai - The weekend was not a total diseaster but very close, the pool was not open until Sunday and it was so over crowded by very rude people, the last night there a church group from Burns Flat arrived and they proceeded to sing, play guitar, tamborine until midnight they had no concern for anyone else and the park ranger was no where to be found. we had to contact the Watonga police department. Taking a shower was a risk to ones health there were hairballs in the drains so you were always ankle deep in other peoples stuff. I took my daughter here several years ago and had the best time so while we still hold on to the wonderful memories we made when she was little this is a state park that has become someplace we will never go and I strongly recommend anyone else looking for a fun clean family excursion go else where.
Great ! - Great place to experience the topography of the west w/o having to drive too far from East Coast.
5/23/2010 Runestone State Park by Holly
- I was there as a nine year old before any improvements or it was actually a state park. I had relatives who lived in the area and my grandmother was born in Heavner. What a great history lesson and look forward to returning to see what has been done. Congrats to OK for recognizing such a treasure and putting it under the State Parks protection.

5/17/2010 Roman Nose State Park by melinda
Fun Day Trip or Weekend Getaway - This park is a great day trip or weekend getaway that is approximately 1-1.5 hours from anywhere in the metro area. Offers great hiking/mountain biking trails, fishing, horseback riding, and 18 hole golf course. Also open during certain times of the year mini golf, canoes, kayaking, paddle boats and swimming pool so check with park for hours. It is a no wake lake so peaceful and quiet and a fun time for kids of all ages. There are cabins available, tent and RV sites, and a bed and breakfast located at entrance to the park.
My favorite park -
we loved the park it is so peaceful -

There are so many ways to enjoy yourself - Between angling for flatheads and bowfishing for gar or carp its a great place to pass summer days.
5/8/2010 Twin Bridges State Park by Spoon-bill fisherman
Fix the Boat Dock - The boat dock is falling apart ! The bumpers are missing in allot of spots and the north side looks like it was hit by a barge ! They had better start spending more on the dock and less on playground equipment or their precious caviare revue may drastically decrease.
5/8/2010 Wister Lake State Park by Sanders and Carol Barnes

I intend to be there again this season.

Little River Bottoms is a great place - The Bottoms have everything from snakes, beaver,Rattlesnakes, wild pigs, cayotes, to two mountain lions and one lonely elk. I spend every weekend down in the Little River Bottoms. Nice place to enjoy.
Excellent Display of Nature - I love the nature center and the events. They were particularly interesting as a child, and I would hope that all parents would take their children out to view nature at its finest and to touch, see and learn about wild animals.

2/24/2010 Snowdale State Park by kd5yio
- I have been camping there for 25+ years. It is a quiet park with the exception of the holidays, gets alittle crowded. This is a great park if you like to fish a be lazy, but not for someone wanting to do the hiking and biking outdoors kinda thing. Not any other activities like that. But great just to get out and enjoy hitting the lake or play games. Great playground and fair swimming area.

accomodations - The cabins and hotel at Lake Texoma State Park have been closed for several years. Campsites, boat ramps, and a full service marina are still available. One golf course remains open but is no longer operated by the state of Oklahoma.
catfish - they have shut down little blue from nov.1 to march 1.this has never been done before.we need to complain to get this reopened.it`s a state park and our money is used for this park and others in oklahoma.alot of people use this park year round and especially the retired in the area.they say it was closed for maintenance but what is there to maintain.very lame in my opinion.EVERYBODY NEEDS TO PICK UP AFTER THIERSELVES...
A nice and interesting place to visit - My wife and I camp at the Doris camp ground. The land is open range, and the bison like to scratch their back under the front of your 5th wheel trailer and you will think it is a earthquake. meers is just outside the refuge north of mt. scott. A great place to get a hamburger. WE go back to Doris every time we get a chance.
One of our favorite national parks - My wife and I have been camphost at this park for two summers and we have made freinds with hundreds of people from all over. The employees with the park are very freindly and helpful. If you read this review, you should visit this park.
Someof Oklahomas most beautiful scenery - Breathtaking colors in the fall! Moderate temperatures and very a friendly local population.
We look forward to returning soon. - This park is the cleanest and best-run my family has camped at. We loved it. I would recommend it to all types of groups. We look forward to going back and staying longer.

Great place to visit on Halloween! - We drive from Little Rock, Arkansas nearly every year to spend Halloween at the park. The haunted train ride, the nature center party with its haunted house, the pumpkin carving, the trail rides, the great food at the restaurant - all the events and activities are just wonderful!
10/14/2009 Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge by K. Dawson
Something Different - I live in East Texas and am excited to find places near enough to checkout on a short trip. I had never heard of this place. Now, I want to visit.
9/28/2009 Snowdale State Park by jim
Very small park - This is a tiny state park right next to highway 20. There is not much to do other than lanch your boat on their ramp. There was alot of traffic just driving through the park and in the eary morning around 5 am bass fishermen using the ramp woke everyone in the park. We stayed on the weekend so it may not be this way all the time, but i would not stay here again.
one of our fave parks - My family had a wonderful time at Greenleaf. My one year old loved seeing all the deer. Staff is very friendly and cabin was very clean.
9/20/2009 Robbers Cave State Park by Jean
cabins - The cabin was very nice but if you are taking children or spending a lot of time there keep in mind that there are no more televisions in the cabins. We were there for three days with rain and no tv. We read a lot. Next time we will take cards or board games to keep us busy.

8/2/2009 Hochatown State Park by fstranzl
Great Park - I am from Michigan and live now in the Dallas area. This is by far one of the best camping, boating, site-seeing parks that I have ever been too. My family and I have camped in Canada and this park is just like some of the Canadian parks.
7/26/2009 Little River State Park by LakeRatt66
Good OK. camping - Great campsites- most shady. Nice camphosts and park rangers. Open year-around. Often camp here when visit from my home state of Kansas. Lake is red, muddy water- only downside to this park.
7/11/2009 Twin Bridges State Park by SuzanneLS
Poor fishing and boat ramps - I used to visit this park very often but it has really gone down hill for some reason. No lights on or even near the boat dock ramps which makes it very hard to launch or even come in when boating. Bank for fishing is ok but would be nice to have even one light in the parking area that would shine onto fishing bank. Very dark and makes the unkept bank actually a dangerous place to fish at night due to lots of holes and debri to trip over. River is very snaggy if fishing on the bank. Your lucky to get in without snagging and losing your hook and sinker each time. Camp sites are clean however and bathrooms are clean. Just not what I would consider a place to fish or enter your boat right now until they do something about the extremely poor lighting situation.
Twin Bridges - No lighted boat ramps. Very dangerous and should not be used until lighting is installed. Extremely dark and makes it very hard to launch your boat and come in if you do. This park has undergone changes and it is not the same as it used to be in the past. If you are planning on fishing off the bank, it is also not a good place to fish. No lighting at all, dangerous unkept concrete bank with many holes to trip and fall. Neosho river there is very snaggy for bank fishing. Your lucky if you real in with your hook and sinker still attached. Used to be a favorite place but we have decided to go elsewhere. If your only wanting to camp then it is a very nice camp ground. Clean camp spots and bathrooms. I just would never want to try to bank fish or launch a boat until lighting conditions improve drastically.

Great Park - We agree with the last posting in that this is a very good run park. When goiing to New Mexico from Tulsa its only 20 miles or less from Hwy 412 and then easly road to Clayton. Would recommend to all.

6/24/2009 Bolling Springs State Park by jelsberry
Good park - This is a good park For those who have a 5th Wheel or Class A be careful as the trees hang over the road so be careful other than that its a very good park. Usually stay in mid september and not crowed at all.
6/9/2009 Little Blue-Disney State Park by lake lover
Clean up after yourself people! - Beautiful place for all to see and use. People need to take their trash with them and not litter all over.
Loved It - We will definitely visit Boiling Springs again! I am a single mom with two kids and we felt very safe camping at Boiling Springs. The staff is friendly and helpful and they patroled the campground regularly. It also means a lot that the camp ground and facilities were clean and well maintained!
THE BEST - We spent a week Oct. 2008. We could not have picked a better place to relax and get away from the city life. Wonderful staff!!

4/19/2009 Fountainhead State Park by taurusxtwo@hotmail.com
the park ranger was rude and hateful - We paid for one night and then decided to stay 2 more so I went back to the office and paid for it. The park ranger stopped the next day and insisted that I did not pay and told me to get out. I told him I would find my receipt and show him, but he went to the office to prove me wrong. Of course he never came back because I HAD PAID. I told the park host that I did not appreciate being called a liar and I did not appreciate his attitude
3/23/2009 Beavers Bend State Park by JRL

3/5/2009 Quartz Mountain State Park by japheaux
Relaxing - An awesome place to camp where one can actually get under some trees. Lots of deer at sunset. The mountain offers a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside--worth the half-hour climb to the top. Mangum is only a few minutes away for groceries, fuel, etc. A good relaxing place--5 stars!
Best trout fishing in Oklahoma - The water is beautiful and you have many areas to fish from walk up to hike in. Fishing for every level of fisherman.
2/18/2009 Black Mesa State Park by KLee
Relax and Enjoy - If you need a spot to simply relax, this place has it. The campgrouds is very neatly kept. You can bike or travel by other means and see spactular wonders of nature. It is close to other ares of pure visionary wonder like Mt. Capulon and other sites along the way. It has dinosaur tracks, 3 state marker, old country church buildings, hideouts and much more. There is no need to hurry there is plenty of time to view it all at a reasonable price and very little to disturb you.
1/5/2009 Wister Lake State Park by lwentworth
favorite park - very relaxing
12/30/2008 Twin Bridges State Park by MaineDon
A Nice Place - Coming from New England, our stereotyped conceptions of Oklahoma (i.e., flat, treeless, dusty, etc.) were NOT confirmed by Twin Bridges. We had a nice stay here, high on a cliff overlooking the Spring River. The grounds of this park are well maintained and spotless. Lots of trees and greenery. There is a busy highway that runs through the park, so sites on the edges are quieter. The Rangers were helpful and friendly. We would stay here again.
One of our favorite parks - Beavers Bend is probably our favorite state park in Oklahoma. There is lots for the kids to do and the fishing is great!
11/7/2008 Osage Hills State Park by Stevens Family
WONDERFUL! - Osage is one of our favorite camp grounds, especially in the Fall. The wild life is spectacular, the trails are fun, the outlook point is beautiful and the Office staff and Rangers are so very nice and professional. The bathrooms are super clean and even heated in cooler months! We have two great nephews, ages 9 and 5 and they love going there as much as we do.

Very impressed... - We evacuated for Hurricane Hanna and ended up here as it was the closest that was available. Cabins and park are very well kept. Very friendly and helpful staff. Planning on possibly going this weekend if Ike comes this direction.
7/22/2008 Raymond Gary State Park by Tammy and Darrell Holland
Been going there for 21 years - As the title says, we have been going there for 21 years from tent to 30 ft RV. John and his staff are always there to help. Many years ago, we had car trouble and the ranger there at the time helped us fix the car with spare parts he happened to have had. The park is kept well-groomed. You wont find cigarette butts on the ground. After a storm, you will find John and his crew cruising around picking up and cutting up fallen tree branches, making repairs, etc. The showers are unbelievably clean. Great place to take the family. There is NO drunk and disorderly conduct tolerated. No drinking. After all these years, they feel like part of the family!
7/20/2008 Great Plains State Park by S Wood

5/27/2008 Quartz Mountain State Park by Canaday
Excellent park. We go every year in June - We love the park. We have a family reunion there every year with over 100 people. The park staff is great and all of the local people are really friendly. The water parks in Hobart are a favorite with the younger kids and the rest of us love the fishing.
5/23/2008 Keystone State Park by mocaltex
Great for family reunion - Our family has met at Keystone once a year for our family reunion for the past 4 years. We rent cabins and have always been extremely pleased with our stay.
NEED MORE CAMPSITES - THERE IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO CAMP. ONLY PLACE THEY HAVE IS TINY AND HAS ONE TREE ON THE WHOLE AREA. AND IT IS NEVER MOWED. OPEN UP SOME RUSTIC CAMPING AROUND THE NIDA POINT AREA AND GIVE PEOPLE A PLACE TO ENJOY THEMSELVES. ALSO THEY DO NOT ALLOW CAMPFIRES AT THIS LOCATION. WE PAY TAX DOLLARS,SO PUT THEM TO USE.
5/5/2008 Foss State Park by George
we camp on the lake each year - We travel annually from NM to IL and back staying each leg at Foss for 2 nights and a day. We love the place.
5/4/2008 Lake Murray State Park by justinjune28
miles of beautiful trails! - Lake Murray has many multi-use trails that are clean and on a busy day you may still be the only person on them. If you like to walk, trail run, or mountain bike, Lake Murray is a great destination. When I get out of school this weekend and go back home, I plan on spending a lot of time at this lake!
beautiful park - Have been having reunions at park for forty years and enjoyed everyone. Park is clean and really a nice get away with good swimming and fishing.

Interesting and Beautiful Little Place - Wonderful wildlife and scenery. Exciting equestrian trails and nice civilized equestrian camping sites. The dogwood trees are gorgeous!!!
