My favorite park - My wife and I camp in a fifth wheel trailer on river road 3 to 4 times a year. The first time I ever camped was there. I love camping at salt plains, also the game warden is very nice.

great park to visit - Have visited Ft. Cobb several times. Last visit was Sep 27/28. Always have good time. I sure wish they would do something to get rid of those darn sand burrs!! They are tough on dogs and little kids.

Buzzards Roost Campground - We stayed at Buzzards Roost campground in June of 2014. we have camped from Maine to Washington, from Canada to Galveston TX. This the best campground we have ever stayed in. The personnel were very, very helpful, from helping with hookups to fishing tips. Camp site had a very large concrete slab to park the frailer. close to Ardmore OK. will stay there as often as I can. Photos show beautiful camp sites with large pad. Wonderful experience.

WONDERFUL MEMORIES - Recently, my young sons and I visited the park and lake and the experience brought back wonderful memories. I had never seen the lake with water for the last time that I saw the lake was 55 years ago when my father, Paul McCabe built the dam. I remember playing in the creek as the dozers pushed and leveled and scapers hauled the fill for the dam. The rock bluff background was in almost all of the old photographs. The Park Manager was kind and informative. Thanks for the opportunity to relay our experience.
