Beautiful Lake - We really enjoyed our visit this past weekend to Lake Murray. The only downside was all the trash at the campsite when we arrived and then the loud, trashy people that set up camp next to us. We camped on the primitive camping side of the lake down Lem Roberts Road past RC Flying field. What a beautiful little beach we camped at but like I said the trash...OMG people should really try to clean up after themselves and consider the persons who are coming after them. There is an utter disrespect for the environment and the hard work that others put in to creating such a beautiful place to get away. I suggest that the park rangers put up more signs and patrol that side of the lake a little better.

Could be improved - The park is clean and in overall good condition, but I do not understand why they have let the red cedars get out of hand.

Beautiful Place - I really enjoy going to this park, whether staying in a cabin or tent camping. I have been going there for about 10 years off and on and find it a delightful place. I recommend it as a great option for a getaway experience.

Incredible! - We found a glowing sword, slayed a dragon and saved the Universe ten times over. I have to say, other than traveling with the Doctor, THIS was the best time of my life!

Favorite Place - We have been staying one week every summer for so long it feels like we are comming to our place everytime we visit the park. The cabins are well maintained and the rangers make us feel welcome. The office staff knows us by name which makes us feel welcome every year. We make our reservation on our way out of the park for next years vacation.

Wonderful Time ! - Harold & Mary are excellent camp hosts. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area, The campsites and bathrooms are very nice and clean, This is one of the best parks we have stayed. Firewood at every site hot water and heated bathrooms were a very pleasant surprise. This was our first visit and we will be back to stay again. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Wonderful Family Outing - We visited Red Rock Canyon and had a wonderful time. We took our camper and a tent and stayed in the Canyon Campground. Quiet camping area and beautiful weather made this a wonderful weekend! We enjoyed the park, watching the (brave) rapellers and various hiking trails. Our kids (ages 8, 7 and 3) absolutely loved it and we cannot wait to return!

Osage is a precious jewel - Delightful little cabins, beautiful bridge (gotta look from just off the road), heavy-beam pavillion....the WPA really outdid themselves on this lovely Park. And THE nicest folks...SO helpful. This is our second visit. Cannot wait to return.
