2/7/2012 Lily Bay State Park by barry s. mellor
it is my favorite vacation - this is our 14th year in a row
1/12/2012 Roque Bluffs State Park by Mike from Jonesport Maine
A great place to hike - Great diversity on the two main trails. One issue is the standing water on the Pond Trail prior to exiting. Need to work on drainage. Hearing the sound of the water on the hiking trail is excellent. Since the trail finally got marked it is so much more pleasant. Great place to enjoy what Downeast Maine offers.
8/22/2011 Camden Hills State Park by mystified
A romantic view - There is nothing i love more than to look over the harbor. Camden offers a wonderful dining experience and quaint harbor viewing. Mount Battie has spectacular views, great shopping, wonderful art museums and the air or romance all around.
absolute favorite - Been going for almost 10 years since I met my husband. Great place and lots of hiking and other activities to do
Great Place - Great place and Tumbledown is very close, my fav mt. to climb in Maine
Favorite - I have travelled to a lot of state and national parks and Baxter if one of the best.
7/20/2011 Reid State Park by Allison Lee Stanley
Heaven on Earth - Reid State Park has a little of everything. They offer 3 miles of hiking trails, ledges to climb and explore, 2 very beautiful beachs with surf, a lagoon area, which is great for the kiddos and a wonderful park manager, Samantha Wilkinson! Growing up in Arrowsic (sister island), I visited Reid often! Being at the park has helped me in many ways. Relaxation is top priority. It has a very clean and comforting atmosphere and the staff is great!
7/8/2011 Mount Blue State Park by happy Grammy

5/17/2011 Lily Bay State Park by Maribethia
The Aaaahhhhhhh Factor - It can get cold even over the 4th of July. This will be our 3rd year and we love it. The woods are full of birds singing and chirping. The Showers are centrally located and very clean. A gem of a location.
4/14/2011 Baxter State Park by Emily

11/15/2010 Moose Point State Park by Jenna
A stunning park! - A stunning park with a little beach area where tidal pools form at low tide and a set of stairs brings visitors straight to the surf at high tide. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is a great place to stop and relax.
11/11/2010 Moose Point State Park by Mike Hurley
a deeply cared for jewel - We live in Belfast and have visited the park for 40 years. The park is always improving, always cared for beautifully, and never over used. Thank you to the staff who truly care for this park much much better than other places I have seen. The love of the staff and their hard work shows in every inch of the park. Thanks to you all!
9/23/2010 Moose Point State Park by Ralph & Christine (from UK)
A great place for a break - A wonderful place to relax. Very tranquil and a great place to break a journey for a while. Great views, very peaceful and enjoyable walking trails with lots of wildlife.
How far can you go - Lighthouse is interesting and being furthest east spot in USA is novel. Very nice place to visit if you like remote areas. Lots of walking and beautiful scenery. Hit or miss for fog which cuts down on viewing but is an amazing experience when it rolls in so quickly. Know where you are before it rolls in. While walking to the shore a huge porcupine decided to walk in front of me. Bring a camera!
Best of Maine - We stopped at this park on our way to Bar Harbor, and what a great place it was. So quiet, clean, wonderful playground for my children, it just smelt like Maine (pine trees). I will remember it always!
- we have been comming here since the children were small stll love it so nice
7/16/2010 Peaks-Kenny State Park by Ton
25 years going here - Since my children were very young we have gone to this park, first to visit the beach (which is a nice combination of sand and grass with a playground and plenty of picnic tables) and then to camp. Nothing beats this park for youngsters and adults who want to camp--no frills, no video arcades, no pool--just camping-with-the-family fun! Rent canoes, hike (nice but not challenging trails, explore the woods.
7/10/2010 Sebago Lake State Park by CRS
Vacation Destination - We live in Central Florida (Disney area) and have yet to find a better place to get away from it all but still have pleanty of things to do with the kids. This is where moms get to vacation with their famlies. Other places I need a vacation from our vacation.
7/7/2010 Lake Saint George State Park by Maine Lover
Refreshing! - We happened upon this lake just by chance as we were traveling back roads. The grounds were clean except for some smelly goose poop. The bath house was clean and spacious. The lake itself was most refreshing! Great place for kids and adults alike. Lots of shade and plenty of picnic areas for those wanting to spend the day.
7/7/2010 Sebago Lake State Park by Kim S.
We spend Labor Day weekend every year ! - Our family really enjoys Labor Day Weekend. The water is always so beautiful, warm and Crystal clear! We love it!
6/19/2010 Peaks-Kenny State Park by Michelle Knowlton
This is my favorite place of all time. - I have been coming to this park for 34 years...I am 34. My children now come with me nearly every nice day in the summer for the beach and we camp frequently. The scenery is outstanding, cleanliness is A one and the camping is very private. U have to see it to appreciate it.

Our binoculars and our love of nature - My husband and I visit every year. We pull over on the side of the road and just sit there for hours with our binoculars and our love of nature.
Great snowshoeing trails for all ages! - I went 2 weeks in a row and still did not get enough of Bradybury Mt. The trails are well kept up, it is peaceful and just beautiful. A great place!
11/10/2009 Aroostook State Park by Born to ski
The Best cross country trails!! - It is sooo quiet in the park when I ski there I know I can hear the snow flakes fall!! Absolutely beautiful!!
A bit loud from traffic - The campsites and facilities are great, but the highways is right there and the trucks are really loud.
9/23/2009 Mount Blue State Park by gizzmo
The Rangers go above and beyond - The rangers at Mt. Blue State Park are very helpful and very informative. They go above and beyond to help you find things around the camp. Plus the sites are immaculate!!!

Our Best Memories - I have been coming here since I was little, got married here, and we have brought our own children here. We have the warmest memories of Mt. Blue and look forward to one day bring our grandchildren...in the great, great future!
7/18/2008 Lake Saint George State Park by mom in Maine!
Perfect for kids - This park is wonderful for each one of my 5 children. There is a playground for the younger ones with sand to play in, there is a choice of the shaded water area or the more open beach feeling spots. both are equally beautiful. The Bathrooms can be seen by any spot on shore wich is another plus if travelling as a family. My only warning would be to know that untill your in deeper water the bottom is very rocky,I would bring water shoes!!
7/17/2008 Lake Saint George State Park by Heather
