A true pioneer - I remember being about 8 years old, when I realized the mud in our back yard was a historical place. But, my father A.E. Corzine knew how special it was, before most even knew it existed. At 85 years old, he is still making memories and fighting for what he believes in. Thanks should be given to him, more freely.

good fishing - almost in my back yard. but cant access favorite smaller holes due to cane and over growth.been using area for 35 years. tva had it first.have caught bass over 8 lbs.some of the roads are terrible in belle rive unit.cars cant make it down some.boat ramps are great.i fish 3 to 4 times a week. should allow to keep 5 fish under 14 inches. some holes are stunted. have caught 60 plus bass in one outing all 12 to 13 inches.thats still fun.lucky to be so close.

Disappointed - We have been utilizing the horse campground at Forbes State Park for more than 20yrs. Due to illness and other factors we have been unable to camp for the last 3 years. This past Memorial Day weekend we chose to go camp and ride. We arrived Friday afternoon and we were floored that the campsites had not been mowed. There were tall weeds around everything, the campfire pit, the trashcans, the out houses. The out houses were disgusting and almost full! I understand that there have been many budget cuts throughout the state but being the first big holiday weekend of the year I would have thought the campgrounds would have been more presentable. Very disappointed.

Great Park. - Been camping here for over 20 years. Great Park on Lake Michigan. love it. Camp Hosts down in the 100 block, I think 111 site, are wonderful people. Fall is a beautiful time to be there! The rangers/workers are very nice and do a wonderful job with any problems. Which are few.

GREAT STOPPING SPOT - the restaurant is wonderful; atmosphere, food and service. Home made ice cream and pies. Camping is super, restrooms are spot on.

Wish Deer Run Had a Shower House - We have been camping at Deer Run for a couple of years. The campground is very nice, neat and clean, but it would make a world of difference if the campground had a shower house. Brett is a great host and makes you feel very comfortable.
