Swimming
1. Quinsigamond State Park offers two main swimming areas: Regatta Point and Lake Park.
2. Both spots provide lifeguard-supervised, designated swim sections during summer months.
3. The park's large lake is perfect for open water swimmers seeking a challenge.
4. Swimming lessons are available at both locations through the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR).
5. Non-swimming visitors can enjoy sunbathing on sandy beaches or picnicking in nearby green spaces.
6. The beach area also includes amenities such as restrooms, changing rooms, showers, picnic tables and grills.

Boating
The park offers a variety of boating options for visitors. It features boat ramps that allow easy access to Lake Quinsigamond, making it ideal for those who own their personal watercrafts such as motorboats or sailboats. Additionally, the lake is also popular among rowers and paddlers due to its calm waters. However, there are no rental facilities within the park itself; therefore guests must bring their own equipment.
Fishing
Enjoy fishing at this park, which offers options for shore or boat angling. Species include bass and pike. Other fish species available are trout, perch and sunfish. Boat ramps provide easy water access for anglers with vessels.

Picnicking
Quinsigamond State Park offers picnic areas with grills, tables and restrooms. Visitors can enjoy views of Lake Quinsigamond while picnicking.
Bicycling
Biking enthusiasts can enjoy the paved paths available. However, be aware that these trails are shared with pedestrians.

The park's terrain is mostly flat, making it suitable for all biking skill levels. Still, always exercise caution when cycling.

There aren't any dedicated mountain bike trails here so off-road bikers might find options limited and should proceed carefully.

During peak hours or on weekends, the pathways may become crowded; thus cyclists must remain vigilant to avoid accidents.

Remember: helmets are a necessity while riding in this area as safety measures dictate their use at all times.
