January 21 EXCITING CHANGES AT HUGH WHITE by housekeeping
park review stars; one to five Since last year there has been alot going on at Hugh White. We have re-opened parts of the campground that were previously closed. We are putting big, flat screen TVs with satellite programming in every cabin. We have arcade games in the game room at the lodge. Next, the cabins are getting a makeover! Come take a new look at an old favorite. Visit Hugh White State Park!
April 14 Great place for family and friends by Mac
park review stars; one to five Awesome place to get away. I try and get atleast 2 days out there every time I come home which is usually only once a year(active duty military). Very convenient lodging esp. after a day out on the lake.
September 25 Pool, heck- try the gorgeous beach! by jlayton
park review stars; one to five Just spent the day watching my children playing on the gorgeous white sand beach and in the cool lake water. We found tracks of deer and other wildlife in the sand along the rocky bluff. Bald eagles flew overhead. People who want pools should stay in the city. When my family and I go outdoors, we want to see wildlife and enjoy real, living water with minnows, mussels and more. Like ALL state parks in MS, they are obviously strapped for money for maintenance and manpower, so quite writing snarky complaints and make a difference- volunteer your time, or get the politicians to allocate funds to our beautiful state parks.
