1. Cochituate State Park offers three public swimming areas: North Pond, Middle Pond, and South Pond.
2. Lifeguards are on duty from late June to early September at all ponds.
3. Swimming is allowed only in designated swim areas marked by buoys for safety reasons.

The park offers a variety of boating options for visitors. It has three connected lakes that are perfect for water-based activities such as sailing, windsurfing and motorboating. Kayaks, canoes and paddleboards are also available to rent on-site during the summer season from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Boat ramps provide easy access to the water while boat rentals offer convenience for those without their own equipment or vessels.
You can enjoy freshwater fishing in three interconnected lakes. Species include largemouth bass, chain pickerel, and yellow perch. There's also a boat ramp for easy access to the water. Fishing from shore is another option available.
