Located in the White Mountains Region, just north of the Presidential Range, Moose Brook State Park is in an area of unparalleled scenery and offers a variety of outdoor activities. The park is ideally located for fishing in the Peabody and Moose rivers. Moose Brook flows through the park, and after passing through a shallow warming pool, feeds the swimming area with cool, clear mountain water. Picnicking and swimming are enjoyed against the scenic mountain backdrop. The many trails in the park are great for exploring on foot or mountain bike.

Admission is $3 for adults; $1 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under and NH residents age 65 and over are admitted free.

1. Moose Brook State Park offers a designated swimming area in the park's main body of water, Moose River.
2. Lifeguards are not present at this location so swimmers should exercise caution and swim responsibly.

Anglers can enjoy freshwater fishing in a brook and pond setting. Species include trout, bass, pickerel, and perch. Fly-fishing is also popular here due to the abundance of rainbow trout. Ice fishing offers winter fun when conditions permit it.

Families or beginners might prefer the Perimeter Road trail which is paved and relatively flat but still requires careful navigation.

The Jimtown Loop provides an intermediate option for cyclists; it's not too difficult yet demands attention due to occasional obstacles on path.

Remember always wear helmets while cycling in these terrains as safety should be your utmost priority.

Check weather conditions before setting out since wet surfaces could make certain routes slippery and more dangerous than usual.

Lastly, respect nature by staying within designated bike lanes to protect both yourself and local wildlife habitats from unnecessary disturbance.
