Boating
The park offers a variety of boating options for visitors. There are several boat launches available, making it easy to get out on the water whether you have your own vessel or choose to rent one locally. Kayaking and canoeing are popular activities due to calm waters in certain areas while more adventurous individuals can try white-water rafting through some of its rapids sections. Fishing boats also frequent these waters as they're known for their abundance of fish species including salmon and trout.
Fishing
Anglers can enjoy year-round fishing, targeting species like Chinook and Coho salmon. Steelhead trout is also abundant in the area.

The river offers excellent opportunities for smallmouth bass and walleye during warmer months.

Winter ice-fishing provides a chance to catch lake trout or rainbow trout amidst stunning scenery.

Fishing from boats allows access to deeper waters where muskellunge lurks alongside other large fish varieties.

Fly fishermen will appreciate the challenge of catching brown trout using their skills with lightweight tackle.
