Coleman State Park lies on the shore of Little Diamond Pond in Stewartstown, twelve miles east of Colebrook in New Hampshire's remote north country. The excellent trout fishing in Little Diamond Pond and nearby streams makes Coleman an excellent location for fishing enthusiasts. A boat launch is located within the park; small boats are permitted, but speed is restricted. It is also a good base for fall hunting. Other activities offered at the park include hiking, canoeing, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing. The park is the northern terminus of the Androscoggin Trail, a hiking path that extends 55 miles south to Berlin.

Boating
The park offers a variety of boating options for visitors. It features Little Diamond Pond where guests can enjoy canoeing and kayaking, with boat rentals available on-site. Motorized boats are also allowed but must adhere to the 10mph speed limit set by the park authorities. The pond is stocked with trout making it an ideal spot for fishing as well.
Fishing
Anglers can enjoy fishing in Little Diamond Pond, known for its brook trout. The pond also houses rainbow and brown trout. Ice-fishing is popular during winter months. Boats are allowed on the water but must adhere to a 10mph speed limit.
