Swimming
1. Whitefish Lake State Park offers a sandy beach for swimming.
2. Lifeguards are not provided, so swim at your own risk.
3. The water is clear and usually warm in summer months.
4. Swimming areas are marked with buoys to ensure safety from boating activities.
5. There's also an accessible fishing dock near the swimming area for non-swimmers or breaks between swims.

Boating
The park offers various boating options for visitors. It has a boat ramp that allows easy access to the water, making it ideal for motorized and non-motorized boats alike. Whether you prefer kayaking, canoeing or power-boating, there are ample opportunities available. Fishing is also popular on the lake with catches including trout and northern pike among others.
Fishing
Enjoy fishing in a serene environment, with options for both shore and boat angling. Species include rainbow trout and kokanee salmon. The lake also houses yellow perch and whitefish species. Fishing equipment rentals are available on-site.

Bicycling
Biking enthusiasts can enjoy the paved bike path that runs through a portion of this scenic Montana location. However, be aware there are no dedicated mountain biking trails within its boundaries. The park's terrain is mostly flat and easy to navigate for casual cyclists but may not satisfy those seeking more challenging routes or off-road experiences. Always remember safety first; wear helmets, follow trail etiquette and respect wildlife in their natural habitat while exploring on two wheels.
