| State Park Overview: |
 | This 64-acre state historic site preserves the remains of a once-fortified Indian village, which also was an important ceremonial center. Indians of the Mississippian Culture inhabited the site between 1000 A.D. and 1400 A.D. A kiosk with exhibits interprets the history and significance of this important Mississippian archaeological site. |
