Bicycling
The park offers 4 miles of bike trails, but be aware they are quite hilly and challenging.

Biking is permitted on all roads within the park boundaries; however, caution should always be exercised.

Helmets are strongly recommended due to steep inclines and potential for high speeds downhill.

For those seeking a leisurely ride, consider sticking to flatter areas near campgrounds or picnic spots.

Mountain biking enthusiasts may find some sections suitable for their skills level - proceed with care though!

Remember that wildlife encounters can occur unexpectedly so stay alert at all times while cycling in this area.

In winter months, fat tire bikes could navigate snow-covered paths if you're up for an adventure!
Birding
The park offers birding opportunities with over 200 species sighted, including waterfowl and warblers. Bird checklists are available. The diverse habitats attract a variety of birds throughout the year. Visitors can enjoy self-guided tours or join organized bird watching events during spring migration season.
