Very nice for family outting. The water is shallow and clear. Excellent sunset views. Area clean.
Edgewater has a nice beach on lake Erie, with bathhouse, an upper park lawn area, grills and picnic tables. Activities such as kite flying events or Pow Wows are common. The park is not huge but a good size. A fine park for a gathering or afternoon picnic, or swim. Edgewater Park is just down the road from some good shops and restaurants, as well, and a short drive from Downtown Cleveland (via the Rt.2 shoreway). In fact, Edgewater sports some of the most fantastic views of Cleveland -- day, sunset, or night.
