Our park has 285 modern campsites, two swimming beaches. The swimming beaches have sandy bottoms and have easy incline from the shore. There are three play areas with a softball field, horseshoe pits, basketball and volleyball courts, boat launch and basin that provides a protected harbor for boats of various sizes. Metal detecting area.
Passes
The Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into state parks and recreation areas, state boat launches, state forest campgrounds and state trail parking lots. Beaches have sandy bottoms and gently incline from the shore to the picnic area.
Boating
Part of the Inland Waterway, Mullett Lake is at the heart of the 38-mile water trail. See information about the water trail listed below on this page. The basin around the launch site provides a protected harbor for boats of various sizes.
Fishing
Anglers will find walleye, smallmouth bass, pike, bluegill, yellow perch, lake trout and sturgeon in Mullett Lake. Ice fishing is also a popular winter sport in the park.

Three play areas contain a softball field, horseshoe pits a volleyball court and a basketball court.

Trails
Mackinaw to Hawks Rails to Trails runs through Aloha State Park. The primary surface of the trail is gravel. During the summer this trail is non-motorized and used for hiking, equestrian, and biking. During the winter months the trail is groomed for snowmobiling.
Bicycling
Cycling enthusiasts can explore the park's terrain on two wheels, but should be aware of potential challenges.

The area offers a variety of biking trails suitable for different skill levels.

However, some paths may have steep inclines or rough surfaces that require advanced cycling skills and caution.

Riders are encouraged to wear helmets at all times due to occasional loose gravel and unexpected obstacles along the way.

Also remember that these routes often intersect with pedestrian pathways; please respect other users' space while riding.

Lastly, always check weather conditions before setting out as they could affect trail safety significantly.
Area Attractions
Aloha State Park is near Cheboygan which offers shopping, dining and entertainment. The historic Straits of Mackinac is within a half-hour of the park and includes Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island, Fort Michilimackinac and Old Mill Creek Historical Park.

park review stars; one to five Aloha is our favorite state park, its clean quite, the ranger is nice, the only thing they need to put in new bathrooms, our kids grew up camping there and want to continue camping there, WE will be starting to camp there again soon.

park review stars; one to five Been camping at Aloha for over 30 years. Love the park, but its time to up date the bathrooms, move the dump station away from the main road into the park. And clean more often the beach and bathrooms during fish fly season. Also bring back the dog beach area.
