August 3 reservations by robert storm
We have stayed in that park several times.IT IS NOT RIGHT TO HAVE RESERVATIONS.who ever makes them donot know what they are doing.we got there on a thursday afternoon and were told we could only have 2 nights.in the loop we stayed there must have been at least 20 empty sites.i have a veterns acess pass and that did not matter.we could only have a site for 2 nites that all the sites were reserved.in the morning the sites were still empty.having to wait a month to get a discount for the acess pass is rediculous.it should be first come first serve.nys needs to make a better way to serve the people who want to use the parks.
April 1 An historical gem by J Wheeler
When we camped there a couple of years ago the well kept grasses provided an idyllic spot on Senaca Lake. Historical buildings provide viewing activities as this is not a private campground full of artificial entertainments. It is centrally located south of Geneva along the east side of the lake north of Watkins Glen in the middle of Finger Lakes wine country.
