I live near Rock Creek. Its camping, fishing, and trails etc, attract not only cities close to it, but far away. Its not huge, but neither small. Can be pretty packed in late spring, early summer, but very pretty. Pontoon rentals available, and the lake can have small motorboats, as well as small sails. Well-maintained.

I have been camping at Rock Creek Park since I was a small child. I have many fond memories there and will continue to make many more. I love the camping, fishing, and swimming areas. I hope everyone that lives in Iowa gets the chance to enjoy Rock Creek Park at least once in their life.
