October 6 Beautiful Park by Itching Family
The park is absolutely beautiful and an amazing place to hike with so many levels. We tent camped and the only downfall was the poison ivy was everywhere in the camping area.
June 25 Poison Ivy Park
Nice Park, Poison Ivy was out of control. They need to spray especially in the camp ground common areas. Children could not explore Nature. Very disappointing compared to our previos stays.
December 9 Great Hiking by Dave
I hiked the Blue and Green trails. Well marked trails that lead to an awesome waterfall. Not too crowded either.
July 10 Yellow Jackets by Sue
Our Picnic was ruined by the invasion of yellow jackets. 3 of our guest were stung. The park need to do something about the yellow jackets.
October 28 First time visiting
We loved the park. The scenery is spectacular. We pitched a tent and just relaxed. Wished we had more time to hike and see the waterfall. Next time.... Thank you park rangers. You made it very friendly...

February 4 Love the waterfall by Norman
You hear the sounds of water crashing into a pool and muffling the songs of birds. Then the trail opens into a clearing and there it is a lovely waterfall whose waters soothe weary tired feet and whose sound lulls the mind.
January 21 Great Moutain Bike Trails by Rick Moon NWGA SORBA
I rode about half the loop before I had a mechincal but I will be stopping in here every time I travel Alabama. It is obvious that the park management and local volunteers have combined for a serious mountain bike experience. Thank you for your work.
January 3 awesome i love oak mountain by brian
Seriously, I ride the 17 mile biking loop almost every weekend and it is by far the best trail I have ever been on. If you like riding bikes and enjoy a bit of a challenge then this is the perfect place to do that.
December 28 Christmas by Granny Irene
Was glad to see a Nativity at the entrance, as well as other decorations thru out the park. You can tell this park is run by people that care. We spent a good hour just riding and looking as this was our first visit. We plan on going back to camp. There was several things I know my 11 year grandson would love.
April 21 Great place for shorter and longer hikes by James
I spent the better part of a day here with my partner and had a great time. We walked along the short nature trail, learned a lot about efforts of wild animal rehabilitation, and enjoyed the natural setting. The beach, lake, and nature trail were shared by groups of different sizes and ages, all seeming to have an equally good time. I certainly plan to come back to hike the longer trails.
