July 22 Undiscovered treat by Old Goat

We have crossed the bridge over this narrow gorge a hundred times over 50 years, but this is the first time we stopped. Oh, what we have missed! Great park - sadly, not well known.

July 29 true malad by waterotter

In 06 I and friend hiked from the Malad River confluence with the Snake River up the canyon toward the impressive falls under the scenic overlook and bridge. Talk about pristine wild country. Saw wild cat sign, and some of the bluest, truest water anywhere. This kind of country is what i love. The best way to come back down proved to be to float the river back down. (gasp, cold water)
