MAGNOLIA LAKE STATE PARK

Located in Keystone Heights, Florida, the park was established in 1955. It spans over 121 acres and features a lake of approximately five acres. Originally designed as a second segment to Gold Head Branch State Park, it became independent due to its unique characteristics.
The area is known for diverse wildlife including gopher tortoises and various bird species. The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) developed some parts during the Great Depression era.
Over time, recreational activities like picnicking and fishing have become popular among visitors at this location with facilities being improved accordingly.
