Magnolia Lake State Park is a beautiful, serene destination known for its lush greenery and tranquil lake. History of the Area
Located in Keystone Heights, Florida, the park was established in 1955. It spans over 121 acres and features a lake of approximately five acres. Originally designed as a second segment to Gold Head Branch State Park, it became independent due to its unique characteristics.

The area is known for diverse wildlife including gopher tortoises and various bird species. The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) developed some parts during the Great Depression era.

Over time, recreational activities like picnicking and fishing have become popular among visitors at this location with facilities being improved accordingly.

In recent years efforts towards conservation are prioritized ensuring preservation of natural habitats within the park's boundaries while maintaining public accessibility for enjoyment purposes.

Passes
Annual Entrance Passes can be purchased at all park ranger stations and museums. If you require immediate use of your pass, this is the best option. Passes can be purchased during regular business hours 365 days a year. Please call the park in advance to ensure availability. Those who are eligible for discounted or free passes may use this method to receive their pass. Annual Entrance Passes may be purchased online by visiting the FLORIDA STATE PARKS ANNUALENTRANCE PASSES web page.
Fishing
Enjoy fishing in a serene lake setting, home to species like largemouth bass and catfish. A valid license is required. The park also offers boat ramps for easy water access. Fishing gear isn't provided so remember to bring your own equipment.

Directions
- From Orlando: Take FL-408 W and Florida's Turnpike towards US-27 N in Minneola.

- Follow US-27 N and turn right onto Washington St.

- Continue on Magnolia Ave until you reach your destination.

From Miami:

- Get on I95-N

- Merge with Florida's Turnpike Northbound

- Exit at Yeehaw Junction (Exit #193) for State Road 60 West

- Drive west approximately one mile then take a left into Kenansville Rd

- After about half an hour drive northwards along this road

- You will see signs directing you to the park entrance
