The place is so beautiful and relaxing. The trail to the Ha Ha Tonka Spring was icy however we covered it from the lake side.

May 2 Best Autum Park to see by Ragged Mouse
I love this park in the Autumn my son took his other dad and I here when he was 15 years old and started working there when in high school. When in college he work there and now is the naturalist here. Still the greatest autumn park ever.

October 4 This is one state park to see... by Missourian
There are lots of plants and animals to see. During our last trip to Ha Ha Tonka we saw; deer, fox, badger, raccoon, squirrel, rabbit and many species of birds. The ruins are interesting, the mechanics of the water tower and pump are very interesting as is the the spring below. On a HOT day the spring is the place to ESCAPE to a cool, natural ~58 degrees Fahrenheit!
April 17 you gotta see this place by chromesparkle
its a great place to exercise and see the beauty of the natural world. everyone should be so lucky to live near a place like this.
October 16 Great hiking trails! by david
My wife and I have now hiked every trail at Ha Ha Tonka and are ready to go back and do it again. Some totally amazing scenery! Favorite trail is Turkey Pen Hollow. Trails are well marked!
October 3 Awesome by Earl and Carolyn
Our 1/4 mile hike turned into a 2 hour hike, had to see more by going the extra few feet/steps. Already planning our return trip in a couple of weeks when the colors start changing, interesting place to see with each new season.

September 21 A lot to explore!!! by Gile
Unlike a lot of state parks, HaHaTonka has a theme. Historical and natural. You can do the basic trails, and some of the side trails have interesting destinations. Beware of the field of rattlesnakes.

June 11 Very Nice... Well Kept...
I was most pleased by the cleanliness of the park, this is an all around amazing place to visit- the view from the Castle ruins is spectacular. Some of the trails are definitely for the physically fit- or for the avid hiker ...
