Located about five miles east of the town of Weare, Clough State Park is located on the shore of Everett Lake, a 150-acre lake formed by a dam on the Piscataquog River. The park is open weekends only from Memorial Day, and daily from late June through Labor Day. Admission is $3 for adults; $1 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under and NH residents age 65 and over are admitted free.
Swimming
1. Clough State Park in New Hampshire offers a large beach for swimming on the shores of Everett Lake.
2. Lifeguards are not always present, so visitors swim at their own risk.
3. The park provides changing rooms and restrooms near the beach area for swimmers' convenience.
4. Swimming is allowed during daylight hours only; no night-time swimming permitted due to safety concerns.
5. No pets or alcohol are allowed within the designated swimming areas in order to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

Boating
The park, located on the shore of Everett Lake, offers a variety of boating options. There is a boat launch area for those who wish to bring their own watercrafts such as canoes or kayaks. Motorized boats are also allowed but must adhere to certain horsepower restrictions due to environmental considerations and safety regulations. The lake's calm waters make it ideal for leisurely paddling activities too.
Fishing
The park offers a variety of fishing opportunities in the 150-acre Everett Lake. Anglers can catch largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and pickerel here. A boat launch is available for those who prefer to fish from watercrafts. Ice fishing is also popular during winter months when conditions allow it.

Picnicking
Clough State Park offers picnic tables and grills, perfect for family outings. Enjoy a meal by the beautiful Everett Lake.
Bicycling
Cycling enthusiasts can enjoy the park's multi-use trails, suitable for both mountain biking and leisurely rides.

While cycling is permitted on most paths, some areas may be restricted due to environmental concerns.

The terrain varies from flat paved roads to more challenging dirt tracks with steep inclines.

Riders should stay alert as they share these routes with hikers and horseback riders alike.

During winter months, certain trails might not be accessible or safe for bicycling activities.

Ensure you have a map handy; it's easy to get lost amidst the vast network of interconnected pathways here.

Always wear appropriate safety gear while riding in this area - helmets are mandatory by law!

Remember that wildlife sightings are common so proceed cautiously when pedaling through forested sections.

Lastly, respect all posted signs regarding trail closures or restrictions - preserving nature is everyone's responsibility!

July 19 Close Fun by brenda
park review stars; one to five Yes, the park is in need of repairs but where else can you go and have a day of fun for this price - I moved here 4yrs ago and if they had a place this nice and cheap in CA it would be overrun by folks - I just wish it were open longer in the year but I love fishing here, riding my bike and kayoking
May 28 Lack of funds by Norm
park review stars; one to five My two sons worked there. They lack equipment due to budget cuts. This park has flooded twice over the last few years causing the bathroom or lack of issues. They all worked hard the last few years cleaning brush and mowing with the resources provided. It was and could be once again a very nice park. We use to take our kids when they were younger.
