I have camped here since I was a kid. Love the trails,beach, camping, ect.. just down right relaxing. scenery is beautiful. The wildlife is abountant.

We got Married there. Stay there at least once a month, from Spring to Fall. Great Family State Park. We love the walk in tent sites. Just a great place to relax.

A great camping experience for all! The beach area and bath house are top notch! You can buy treats for the kids at the food stand and prices are very reasonable. The camping sites are well maintained and you are not right on top of one another. Looking forward to many many more years of camping, picnicing, and playing at Chapmans Dam.

I started camping at Chapman Dam the year before Bob Pepple starting running the park,around 1962.I camped every summer for 2 weeks for around 30 plus years.Just recently my wife and I where wave running at Kinzua Dam and took time out to drive to Chapman to see what it was like since many years had passed since camping there.It still looks like when we camped with a few changes.I was wandering if Bob Pepple is still around.Last I heard he was living in Youngsville.We are thinking of having a family reunion in 2010 !
