Came upon this scene after following two sets of footprints. They obviously belonged to the snowmans creators, to whom I am very grateful.

Worlds End State Park is in a narrow S-shaped valley of the Loyalsock Creek just south of Forksville, Sullivan County. The scenery is spectacular, especially the June mountain laurel and fall foliage. Canyon Vista, reached via Mineral Spring and Cold Run roads, provides outstanding views.
The 19 rustic cabins are available for rent year-round. Rentals are for one week periods during the summer, and two-night minimum stays in the off-season. Information is available at the park office. Cabins are equipped with a refrigerator, range, fireplace insert, table, chairs and beds. A central shower building is available and a recycling is center at the entrance to the cabin area.
Camping: modern sites, some with elec.
A 70-site tent and trailer campground is along PA 154, one mile east of the park office. Half of the campsites have electric hookups. Water and restrooms are within a short distance of all sites. Showers are in both loops. A sanitary dumping station is available for emptying travel trailer holding tanks. Pets are not permitted, and access is not guaranteed in the winter.
Organized Group Tenting:
This rustic area has three sites that hold 30 people, or combine for holding 90 people. Adult and youth groups may apply. Advance reservations are necessary.
 | The Crestmont Inn - Eagles Mere, PA BBs / Inns This romantic country inn sits atop the area's highest point, a 2,200-foot peak, just outside the unique Victorian village of Eagles Mere - sometimes called the town that time forgot. |
A small dam on Loyalsock Creek forms a swimming area that is open from late-May to mid-September, 8 a.m. to sunset. Swim at your own risk. The mountain stream water is always cold and exhilarating.
Whitewater Boating:
Whitewater boaters may use the Loyalsock Creek at any time of the year although the area by the swimming beach is closed during the summer. The best water is March to May. Due to rapid fluctuations in water level, kayakers should inquire about conditions before coming to the park. The stream is NOT suitable for open canoes.

November 14 A park for all seasons by Julette

Every year my boyfriend and I try to get a cabin in the park to celebrate New Years the old fashioned way. Last year was the most beautiful time (we got a foot of snow) The trails are well marked and the scenery is breathtaking. Only one thing I would reccomend, Be careful while driving the one of the vista trails, we hit some black ice, slid sideways and almost slid off a cliff due to no railing. Other than that near death experience this park is one of my favorites to visit in the winter.
