April 25 First time visit by The Gilberts

We were looking for hiking trails...and when we saw all the choices available decided to try Tickfaw. We were disappointed that the river trail (3 miles) was closed. The main reason why we made the trip from LaPlace. Otherwise, a good park to visit. Wish they would have had a sign before we walked down the board walk to come across a sign that said river walk closed.
