Park Visitor: Comments, Memories and Reviews
July 30 INCREDIBLE, AWSOME by Don Grasso [email protected]
I decided at the last minute to backpack the Lost Coast Trail to and from Ursal and Anderson Gulch. This trail involves some steep ascents and descents. The hiking is strenuous (for a 54 year old man who is in relatively good shape). At times I was cursing the fact that I was carrying a 70 pound pack. It was all worth the trip. The scenery is beautiful. Wildlife abounds. I encountered only 2 other parties during the two days on the trail. I highly recommend it, but do not hike it alone as I did. Have fun and enjoy. Don
