April 8 The Smells of the Tullies by Vicki born in Richland 1953
The smell of the Tulles still give me warm fuzzes from our days of boating in the Columbia and relaxing at the Sacajawea State Park. I was an infant when my parents started taking us out through kindergarten. I am so thankful for those memories that warms my tummy and soul.
September 23 Rich cultural resource by pegbent
This park has been a favorite destination for me since I arrived in the area in 2006. From the eagle tours in the dead of winter to the activities at Heritage Days in September, there is a wide range of events and sights to enjoy here. Nature enthusiasts will find many creatures to view, and the interpretive center and annual events offer insight into the history of the region and the cultural uniqueness of this area.
