Visitor Comments, Memories and Reviews
April 7 have yet to visit here by Sam G.

Hello! In the near future I hope to be traveling through the southwest. On my way to northern Az. May visit the Elephant butte area and hope to visit the Deming area. In the 1980s traveled through and visited a rock shop. Purchased some beautiful green serpentine there which was later lost in a yard sale catastrophe. Hope to spend time collecting here.
March 25 A great State Park

Beautiful scenery... Great staff....You are permitted to take some of the rocks found there and the helpful staff will tell you what you have. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the great outdoors
December 31 A Favorite of Ours by 2labcruisers & daisy do&amber2

Were here 6 years ago between Christmas & New Years and wanted to return to this great place. Beautiful, quiet, scenery is awesome and lots to do around the area. We love it!
To get to Rockhound State Park from Deming, take NM 11 south five miles, and then head east on NM 141 for about nine miles.
