We come back every year for family reunion and are treated like royalty by park rangers.
August 18 Best place for a reunion by Dave
I fly in from Seattle for our family reunion. Rent a cabin. The staff knows me by name. A great place to visit and enjoy the hospitality of true Oklahomans.

Small, but well kept. Cool little swimming area, cool little playground. Not a big area, but cozy. Clean restrooms.
June 6 A place for memories! by Amy Bills
My family and I love this park! We take our children several times throughout the year. The cabins are relaxing and clean& the grass around the park is always tidy. My children love to fish, swim, and play in the large park area. The staff is VERY nice and tentative. I love this park!

Spent the Memorial Day Weekend out at this State Park. It was very well groomed, the kids had a blast - swimming area is well kept and clean. Very close to area canoe trips too!

October 4 The BEST! by Judi Barrett
You will not find a better kept park in Oklahoma. Immaculate. It is always peaceful and clean. The guys at the park do an excellent job!
September 7 Very impressed... by JNett in TX
We evacuated for Hurricane Hanna and ended up here as it was the closest that was available. Cabins and park are very well kept. Very friendly and helpful staff. Planning on possibly going this weekend if Ike comes this direction.
July 22 Been going there for 21 years by Tammy and Darrell Holland
As the title says, we have been going there for 21 years from tent to 30 ft RV. John and his staff are always there to help. Many years ago, we had car trouble and the ranger there at the time helped us fix the car with spare parts he happened to have had. The park is kept well-groomed. You wont find cigarette butts on the ground. After a storm, you will find John and his crew cruising around picking up and cutting up fallen tree branches, making repairs, etc. The showers are unbelievably clean. Great place to take the family. There is NO drunk and disorderly conduct tolerated. No drinking. After all these years, they feel like part of the family!
May 27 Our favorite local park by Maxie Garner
John and the rest of the staff work very hard at keeping this park in tip-top condition. After you have camped here once you are sure to return.
