a non developed forest, with a 6.5 mile blue trail that starts along the Lake Zoar section of the Housatonic, crosses the cascading falls of Prydden Brook, then up a steep climb to a land that was before the European invasion. no stone walls, large hardwood forest, very quiet- worth the 6.5 miles. You can see the rock lookout ledge at Kettletown State Park across the river.
