State Park Overview:
You can almost hear echoes of the Native past through the trees. Nestled in lush rolling hills, this area was once an Osage Indian settlement. When you've settled down in the comfort of your quiet, private cabin, you'll feel as if you've truly gotten away from it all. Osage Hills State Park is the gateway to Oklahoma's Tallgrass Prairie.

Osage Hills State Park offers 1,100 acres with picnic tables and shelters, 20 RV campsites and 8 cabins, swimming pool, hiking trails, ball field and tennis court. Abundant fishing for bass, crappie, catfish and perch can be found in Lookout Lake, or in Sand Creek at the south end of the park. Area has good opportunities for fall foliage viewing. Average cabin rate $$$ (65-100).

One of our favorite parks

A great place to get away from it all for a weekend.

Beautiful Setting

Have visited this park over 15 years. Quiet, peaceful, and cozy. Usually have camped in our RV. Have used for several Girl Scout campouts too.

A great local getaway

We were thrilled to find the great hiking trails within a short drive from Skiatook. The Park Rangers were especially pleasant & helpful.

WONDERFUL!

Osage is one of our favorite camp grounds, especially in the Fall. The wild life is spectacular, the trails are fun, the outlook point is beautiful and the Office staff and Rangers are so very nice and professional. The bathrooms are super clean and even heated in cooler months! We have two great nephews, ages 9 and 5 and they love going there as much as we do.

A great family place

My family has been comming to this park for our family reunion for over 30 years. We have all enjoyed the park tremendously. We alwas stay at the group camp area and we always comment on the extremely clean facilities. The whole park is absolutly beautiful and very family oriented. I would like to think the staff that keeps th park facilities so clean.

We look forward to returning soon.

This park is the cleanest and best-run my family has camped at. We loved it. I would recommend it to all types of groups. We look forward to going back and staying longer.
