GREAT CAMPGROUND - JUST A WONDERFUL PLACE TO CAMP. SITES WERE LARGE AND WELL TAKEN CARE OF. RANGERS WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL IF NEEDED AND THEY KEPT THE GROUNDS CLEAN AND QUITE. GRANDCHILDREN HAD A WONDERFEUL TIME MAKING NEW FRIENDS AND PLAYING IN THE SMALL PLAYGROUND. FISHING WAS ABSOLUTELY GREAT IN THE PYMTUNING LAKE AND SEEMS LIKE THE LAKE WAS/IS WELL STOCKED WITH A BIG VARITY OF FISH.

Swimming Beach - The Water was cold at some points and I thought it could of been cleaner. But still a good time. I was there today.

Love it at the PARK - John, Lady Annabella (our Sheltie) and myself love this place...we visit the park often to just take a walk, fish, or have a picnic.

We love camping at this park - The area we camp at is usually very clean, quiet and relaxing.

I hope funding returns - How sad that this wonderful natural resource is not being kept-up due to lack of State funding. I hope that in coming elections the public will elect lawmakers who see it as a priority to fund our natural resources. The boardwalk trail next to the beach is still in fair condition.

The beach is horrible - The beach ends just before the water, so the edge is nothing but mud. Called and asked if the water was down just to make sure and was told no. Dirty sand covered in goose droppings and muddy water. Very disappointed since we also called ahead to ask the condition of the beach prior to coming.

Old camper - Tar Hallow is full of memories for me. Went there every summer when in high school. It was a week of church camp for kids from all over Ohio. We had the best times.

One of the best times of my life - I was introduced to Salt Fork by the love of my life, whom got away... Before he left, he chose to spend his last weekend with me at Salt Fork, it was one of the best times of my life. We boated, swam, camped, had bon fires, and spent day after day in the beautiful lake. I will always remember it as one of the best times of my life and it has a special place in my heart - forever.

Horseback Riding - Before going out to ride at the park with the man who rents space from the park to run a rental string of trail horses, check out reivews. Recently was in the news with horses that were OBVIOUSLY cases of neglect. I would not support this part of the park, however, other parts are very nice.
