Mingo National Wildlife Refuge Doe Wading in Water © Clay Guthrie
While walking the Mingo boardwalk early one January morning i encountered this doe and with one of her young. I kept a respectful distance but she sensed i was there from the creaking of the boardwalk. Her child was off to the left of this photo as she tried to lead me further right away from it. I couldnt get a good shot of them together.
