August 4 Our annual family reunion spot by Jason Browder

Martin State Forest is a great place to visit.There is good mushroom hunting in the spring along with several game species to hunt including wild turkey,deer,ect.There are also a couple of ponds on the property.There is a primitive campground that is well kept and shelter houses that you can reserve for birthday parties or family reunions.There is a very nice playground and the top of the fire tower makes for a wonderful view, especially in the fall.
