May 22 Cave Diving in State Parks by ARY
It was a pleasure to meet and talk to park staff member who is also certified cave diver (!!! bravo) by National Speleological Society. Very knowledgeable and positive person. I wish state parks who are lucky to offer cave diving would have some kind of incentives for rangers having special expertise or perhaps offer rangers optional training. The park has an amazing once to be known longest american underwater cave system and it is nice to have it open for visit for international and american qualified cave divers. I also specially appreciate that DPVs were reinstated for use.
January 7 Good for wildlife and cooling off. by SMP
I have been to this park in the summer when it is crowded and full of people looking to cool off in the springs and in the winter when mostly it is left to the vultures, manatees, and the braver swimmers. Nice playground for kids. Cypress stands add to beauty. Boardwalk to river is great. I will always stop here when around this part of the state.
