In the spring Harris Neck is a bird photographers dream. Lots of waders at the rookery and constantly flying overhead. Plenty of migratory warblers and other small birds as well.

You can bike or roller blade this pretty easily. The old landing strip is kinda rough and has cactus. if you hike you can see cool ruins of a kiln, a fountain and an old pool. Lots of birds and armidillos too.
