December 6 My own private Idaho by Alex Gaston
I had a great time. Truly one of the most beautiful spots in the world. I am glad my children got to see what I had when I was their age.
September 21 Breathtaking!! by Amy
Harriman Sate Park is wonderful in every season. I often come during the fall and witness the elk rutting season. It is amazing with migratory birds, less people and the amazing sounds at sunset and after of the mating elk. I love this place and have seen moose, eagles, swans, pelicans, bluebirds, bats, snakes, all sorts of ducks, an Ibis !!!, osprey, blue heron, and elk. Come and pay your fee to support this majestic place. Also, in the summer - take the tour of the houses & ranch. You can also stay here overnight! What an incredible history - from Harriman to the Guggenheims.

July 10 Breathtaking! by ColoTrvlr
I stopped by Harriman on my way for a stay in Island Park at Sawtelle Moutain Resort and just hiking through this park in the Island Park Valley was a refreshing and breathtaking experience. Listening to the wildlife as I enjoyed the streams and the lakes was an awesome experience without the crowds of Yellowstone. It was my own private Idaho and with all the beauty and tranquility of the Yellowstone National Park area.
