Visitor Comments, Memories and Reviews
September 6 Beautiful Park but unsupervised.. by Pat
park review stars; one to five We visited the park on Monday of Labor Day weekend and I must say, as beautiful as it was, we left quickly as there were intoxicated people shooting off large fireworks into the tops of the beautiful hemlock trees and we were frightened of a possible fire or worse.. No one in charge to make a report to. Also, the sign says no dogs ( unless service) and to bring out your trash.. People had several large dogs not leashed ( one growled menacingly at us) and garbage all over at the base of the beautiful waterfalls.. We left feeling dismayed.... :(
May 6 Need a Bridge by gmancato
park review stars; one to five I love taking my five year old for a beautiful hike, but really wish they would build a Bridge at the top. Then you would be able to walk in a circle. After I walked all the way back around I realized there is a path to Park Road instead of Silver Lake. I still would rather not walk with kids on the road. Also there should be a sign at least showing this is a way to cross to the other side by the parking lot. Also hope they add more railings in the Silver Lake Rd side.
May 9 Renovations by TC
