August 29 Will be camping here soon by Hammond Rocker
We stopped by after spending the week at nearby Pickerel Lake. This site is one of those great get away from the office retreats with some history. Localer told me of great fishing for northern pike. Also canoe rental available. The camping cabins were only $40 which include a kitchen cabin the other three share. Equipped with stove, oven and washer & dryer. Clean showers for campers in the old restored horse barn. Approx. 45 minute drive from I29.
December 21 Great historical spot by Mark & Deb Ashworth
My husband & I visited Labor Day Weekend and we were very impressed with the condition of the Fort and all the historical information that was available. It was a wonderful opportunity to see what a real working fort looked like.
