Swimming
1. Fenton Lake State Park offers a designated swimming area in the lake.
2. Lifeguards are not provided, so swim at your own risk.
3. Swimming is allowed from sunrise to sunset only.
4. No diving or jumping into the water from cliffs or rocks is permitted for safety reasons.
5. The park's high altitude can make waters chilly even during summer months; consider wearing appropriate gear if sensitive to cold temperatures.
6. The surrounding forest provides ample shade near the shoreline for breaks between swims.

Boating
The park offers a variety of boating options for visitors. Non-motorized boats such as canoes, kayaks and paddleboards are allowed on the lake throughout the year. Motorized watercrafts with electric trolling motors are also permitted but gas-powered motorboats aren't allowed to maintain tranquility in the area. Fishing from boats is popular among anglers due to abundant trout population in waters during winter months when ice fishing becomes an attraction too.
Fishing
Enjoy fishing in a beautiful alpine setting, home to rainbow trout and German brown trout. Ice-fishing is available during winter months. The lake gets stocked regularly for abundant catches.
