2. The park's designated swim area is marked with buoys to ensure safety.
3. Lifeguards are not provided, so visitors should exercise caution when swimming.

5. Children must always have adult supervision while swimming or playing near water bodies within the park premises.

Boating
The park offers a variety of boating options for visitors. There is a boat ramp available, providing easy access to Mille Lacs Lake which is known as one of the best fishing lakes in Minnesota. The lake also provides opportunities for sailing and motorboating due to its large size. Canoeing can be enjoyed on smaller bodies of water within the park or along the shoreline of Mille Lacs Lake.
Fishing
The park offers fishing opportunities in Mille Lacs Lake, known for its walleye and northern pike populations. Other species include muskie, jumbo perch, smallmouth bass and tullibee. Ice fishing is popular during winter months.

Bicycling
The park offers paved bike trails, ideal for leisurely rides. Be cautious as the terrain can be uneven at times.

Mountain biking is not recommended due to lack of suitable paths and steep areas that may pose risks.

Biking after dark isn't advised; visibility reduces significantly which could lead to accidents or getting lost in unfamiliar territory.

Ensure you have a map handy while cycling since there are no marked routes within this natural haven.

Always wear safety gear like helmets when riding through these scenic landscapes - better safe than sorry!

Remember, it's important to respect nature by sticking only on designated pathways during your ride.
Birding
Located in Minnesota, the park offers birding opportunities with over 140 species spotted. It's home to various waterfowl and songbirds. Birdwatchers can also spot bald eagles during certain seasons.
