Today is September 8, and I was a little disapointed as to why the beach was closed. The gate was locked and my husband and I would have had to walk all the way down! My husband has difficult walking,but if the gate would have been open, we would not have had to walk so far.I am happy tht we have the opportunity to go to this beautiful beach,through DCR free, but what good is it when they lock the gates?

Visit this beach every weekend during the summer .. guys go fishing and the girls relax. Love it :)

Our family goes every summer. One of our favorite places, to spend the whole day. Wonderful if you have children. We have all our family cookouts there and will return for years to come!! Great place!!
