March 17 Great place to view wildlife by Marge

I am a birder and also a volunteer at this park/lake. I check for new eaglets and monitor the bluebird boxes. I have seen red fox, red bats, deer of course, and many great birds as there is such a diverse habitat. The creek that comes into this place flows from around Indiana, PA through the lake/park and out into the Allegheny River at Rosston, PA

November 5 Really Pretty Park by Annie

Visited park for first time during a fall afternoon, so it was not busy at all. Nice beach, plenty of bathroom facilities, and playgrounds for children. Good fishing places. Nice park!

A beautiful place where i spend most of my weekend mornings fishing and testing new lures.A wonderful place to view wildlife and to just breathe the fresh air.

I am a local to the crooked creek area . It is a beautiful place along with surrounding area. TThough I have never stayed overnight at this park it has many attractions to explore. The major ones being the swimming, Hiking (The baker trail passes through this park)and fishing . The experience received at this park might not be as grand as other places but it is definitely worth a trip.

What a wonderful place to get some peace and quiet. The nature is alluring and beautiful. The manager friendly and thorough. I recommend this place to any organization wanting to GET ONE WITH NATURE.

November 9 Just over the hill by Judy

I live just over the hill from Crooked Creek and enjoyed walking the trails. I enjoy seeing the wildlife as I pass through the park on my way to work. This site does nothing for promoting the park and the fact that it is developed around a flood control dam.
