My parents used to Bring us to this Park every Year. I have the Best memories playing Golf and Swimming in the Pool. I live in Denver now, I havent been to the park in 15 years, but I hope it stays open. It is a Great Place for Families to go and Have a good Time.....

I Love this park and had a great time and a lot of fun camping,fishing and swiming at the clean pool.this park has a great resture and trailes that go thur woods.the lake is write there to be in joyed freely.Fun forever didnt close the best of place in mississippi.

We have been camping at this park for 15 years.Our children were raised in this park.Now our oldest daughter wants to be married at the park.It would be a great lost to all if this park is closed.

I have lived in Oakland for 35 years. I have spent all my life going to Cossar Park. If it closes it will be like loosing a part of my childhood. I also take my children there now. I pray for it to stay open and continue serving our community.
February 2 Great place for family reunion by Tammy
We held out family reunion here for the 1st time in 2010 and plan to have our 2011 reunion here as long as the park stays open. It is an excellent place for our reunion as several family members come from out of town and the cabins are great for us to rent, gather, and visit. The pavillion by the pool is plenty big enough for all. The cabins have the basics for cooking and are better than a hotel room for about the same price.

This is a great state park, had a wonderful time doing nothing!! Just booked this years extended stay in March.
December 27 Our first time camping by Jackie
was at Cossar State Park and it was a joyful experience ! We have camped here several times since then, always with such a feeling of having our space. Well kept and quiet... love it !!!!!

I have camped all over several different states and George P Cossar is one of the BEST that I have been to. It is by far one of the top 3 in Mississippi. I was devistatd when I heard that this park may close. Please keep this park open for all of the avid disk golf players as well as for all of the generations to come.It is beautiful and well maintained.

I have stayed here many, many times. I always leave happy and thankful I got to be in such a beautiful, special place. Keep Cossar State Park.

PLEASE!! Dont close this park...By far the best of the 3 Northern Lake Parks...The other Enid Campgounds do not have sewer hook ups!!!

Do not close this park. We were told it will close forever on 10/31/2010. This is not a good idea.
January 6 One of our favorite parks
The cabin was excellent however housekeeping needs to improve. Silverware was dirty and so was the bathroom floors.
