BLUE SPRINGS STATE PARK
Fed by a crystal-clear underground spring, the park's spring pool is the center of attention in this 103-acre park in southeast Alabama. Facilities include modern and primitive campgrounds, picnic shelters, tables, grills, comfort stations, and playground.
Blue Springs is open 7 a.m. to sundown, year round.
Located in Barbour County, Alabama, the park was established in 1963. It covers a total area of 103 acres. The main feature is an underground spring that fills two swimming pools with crystal-clear blue water year-round. In addition to swimming facilities, it offers camping sites and picnic areas for visitors' enjoyment. Over time, upgrades have been made including new bathhouses and improved campsites.
Total of 50 modern campsites, seven of which have sewer hook-up. Fires allowed at each campsite. Each site has a picnic table and grill. Eight (8) people are allowed per site. Families are not allowed to double-up on same site. FREE Wireless Internet Access in Park Office area. Camper storage available. Call for monthly rates.
Blue Springs now has Rental Campers available: No more than six persons per Rental Camper. Rental Campers are furnished with a microwave, stove, sink, coffee maker, pillows, cookware and a small refrigerator. A picnic table and an outside grill is provided for each Rental Camper.
Please Note: There are no bed linens, bath linens, or eating utensils provided in Rental Campers.
Check In Time: 2 p.m. (earlier check-in may be accommodated upon request, if space is available) Check Out Time: 11 a.m. 72 hour cancellation notice. No pets are allowed in Rental Camper. All Rental Campers are non-smoking. Two night minimum rental on weekends and holidays May - September.
