We love Atlanta State Park. The park is very nice. We like the campsites, the access to Wright Patman Lake, the nature trails and most of all we like all the staff. The staff are all very friendly and courteous and willing to help any way they can. Everything is always clean and well kept. We would recommend this park to anyone looking for peace and quiet and just enjoying nature.

Absolutly beautiful! I was amazed. The park was quite and plenty of deer to be seen. I really enjoyed this camping trip and plan to visit again in the next month or two.

November 12 Our second home by Earl Timmons

Very peaceful, pleasant. Gracious people to camp with. The sites are great and spaced nicely. The park personnel are always looking for ways to make your camping experience the best. Again, great people to camp with. If I need to leave my wife there for a few days by herself, I feel perfectly safe for her because the ranger sees to it that there are a number of patrols through the park all hours.
