National Park Overview:
The Horace M. Albright Training Center role is to train and educate National Park Service employees in National Park Service Orientation and Mission. It is located at the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona. The Albright Training Center coordinates a comprehensive training and development program for the following career support function: Universal competencies; Maintenance; Supervision, Management, & Leadership; and Resources Stewardship: Natural Resources.

Horace M. Albright Training Center : The Horace M. Albright Training Center role is to train and educate National Park Service employees in National Park Service Orientation and Mission. It is located at the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona. The Albright Training Center coordinates a comprehensive training and development program for the following career support function: Universal competencies; Maintenance; Supervision, Management, & Leadership; and Resources Stewardship: Natural Resources.

Capital Training Center : The role of the Capital Training Center will be to train and develop National Park Service employees in Recreation and Conservation Programs, Information Management, Specialty Fields, and Organizational Development. It is located in Washington, D.C.

Stephen T. Mather Training Center : The role of the Stephen T. Mather Training Center is to train and develop National Park Service employees in Administration and Office Management Support; Interpretation, Education, and Cooperating Associations; Intake Program; and Resources Stewardship: Cultural Resources; and Visitor Use Management. Mather is located on the historic Storer College campus, a part of the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park.

Historic Preservation Training Center : The role of the Historic Preservation Training Center is to support preservation and maintenance of historic properties in the National Park Service by providing a comprehensive program of preservation education and employee development in Historic Preservation Skills and Crafts. The Training Center headquarters/administrative office is located in the historic Gambrill House within the Monocacy National Battlefield, near Frederick, Maryland.

National Park Service Law Enforcement Training Center : The role of the National Park Service Law Enforcement Training Center at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (NPS-FLETC) is to train and develop National Park Service employees in Law Enforcement and Resource Protection. NPS-FLETC currently works in partnership with the Ranger Activities Division; the U.S. Department of Treasury (host agency); approved SLETP colleges and universities; and other agencies and organizations. The National Park Service unit acts as the on-site Agency Representative for the Tennessee Valley Authority in all law enforcement training issues at FLETC.

U.S. Park Police Training Branch : The role of the United States Park Police Training Branch is to train and develop U.S. Park Police officers in law enforcement and visitor protection. The U.S. Park Police Training Branch works in partnership with the Planning Branch of the Operations Division and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. It works closely with the NPS National Capital Area, the Washington Area Council of Governments, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers, the F.B.I. National Academy, and state and local agencies in and around our areas of jurisdiction.
